Best Performance: Lindenwood 24, (#6) Southeast Missouri St. 12 - The Lion defense, which was allowing 437 yards-per-game, holds a SEMO offense that was averaging 409 ypg to just 234 total yards.
Worst Performance: Western Illinois 20, Tennessee St. 45 - Penalties can be a huge factor: the Leathernecks lost penalties 12-5 in a game that was otherwise statistically even, and they ended up getting thumped.
Most Surprising Result: (#6) Southeast Missouri St. 12, Lindenwood 24 - This defeat didn't cost the Redhawks much in their pursuit of a conference title (they're still tied for first and holding the tiebreaker), but it may have cost them a good shot at a first-round bye.
