If you want to play D2, at least play a good D2 team. Pick up a Northwest Missouri State, Valdosta St, Nebraska-Omaha, Grand Valley, Delta State, Northern Alabama, Albilene Christian, or Minnesota-Duluth. Not a damn 2-8 D2 team.


Teams get upset about your schedule because it's a god damn joke. You playing them is like Florida playing The Citadel...a god damn joke. Almost as big of a joke as not giving a price break to season ticket holders for that game.

I was unaware that a win over any of those teams counted more? I'm not a fan of the D2 games in any aspect as they don't count toward the playoffs so I'd like to see us not play them at all. It is completely fucking amusing to see you fuckers act like it's some personal affront. And in spite of the weak competition and your schools illustrious scheduling the real fucking joke here is the record between the team you support and the one I do if the truth be told.

We get it, it's very important that you make your voice heard on what we pay for our tickets for this game and the fact that the D2 we scheduled isn't as good as the d2's others have sceduled.

Do you also put a lot of stock into preseason wins for your NFL team?

Sure you have Move-up Queen...there are 37 threads on EGriz of people selling and buying tickets. A friend has a wedding to go to that weekend and I sold his tickets in less than one hour of posting them.
Will this be a good game, not likely, but it will be a game to catch up with friends at the tailgates. Though you are more than likely one of those David2 homies who don't want to let anybody have a beer at the half kind of guys.

TT, you are reading me wrong if you think I'm bent out of shape over our cupcake. I know it's a cupcake, ain't no doubt about it. What I like to point out to dipshits that have nothing to do with the program financially is that they act like a bunch of little bitches with some juicy piece of gossip to chip away at the cool kid. It's kind of weird to see fans of other teams so invested in the Griz program but I guess some of you can't help yourselves. As I already said I hate the D2 games cuz you have no traction for playoffs when you play one and as Grizza said that does nothing but help all the other teams in the playoff hunt when we damage our chances to get in and it's baffling how some of you are too dumb to see that it gives you a slightly better chance to make it into the tourney. How fucking dumb are some of you guys?

Couldn't agree more but since neither you or I worked on the schedule it's pretty tough to say. The first thing they worry about is money (proximity is an element of this I assume), and which teams have open dates. If any NEC teams had open dates I would have liked to see them instead as well but as far as a good deal of fans go in Montana they would have been as disappointed with Bryant as they were with Western States not even realizing that are D1 competition. The administration does know this however so what would the reason be? MONEY, the juice that drives every program out there.

Exactly (almost) my thinking. I just figure if you are gonna play a d2 then what the fuck does it matter if they are middle of the road or a d2 playoff team. This is the same bunch of crying as last year that we all heard when we played CW and the fact is we gave them 7 or 8 extra chances to win the game and luckily for us we were able to recover and win it. If the game doesn't count anyway then I suppose the thinking is "who gives a fuck, let's save some money and go with this patsy." The UM administration just doesn't realize that it is dealing with so many exquisite football minds out here in cyberspace that may or may not be able to run their own lives efficiently but god damn sure know how the Griz program should be run.

Because according to a LOT of Griz posters, there is NO suitable competition out west. Even Cal Poly doesn't count any more, since they can't seem to beat us. Then again, if we DID play ASU, UNI and JMU and went 0-3, those same people would be screaming for the coach's head on a platter.

Possibly, you should ask yourself why there are so many sellers of Griz tickets this week, as you point out. Instead, omniscent one, your jaw flaps without a knowledge prerequisite. I've never once made it back exactly at the start of the second half. And my two tickets, offered free to many, tonight remain unclaimed and will be overnighted to Griz Kids in the morning.
