Vandals need to create some offense. McCoy doesn’t look as effective.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:25 am

Agreed. And as Lance pointed out in the show, Idaho hasn’t scored in the 30’s since the first week of October. Albany’s offense is better than SIU’s.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 8:10 amTwo comments…
1. Southern Illinois had arguably the best defense in FCS this season, so the fact the Vandal offense struggled against them wasn't shocking.
2. Idaho's biggest weakness all season has been pass protection. McCoy has had to be an improvisational wizard more often than his team would prefer, I'm sure. Albany is averaging 3.8 sacks per game, which leads the nation.![]()

Vandals need to get creative with pass protection and getting McCoy in space. Of course a run hand woukd also help in this regard but the Danes are giving up just 76 ypg.

Idaho’s offense looks much better. Or Albany’s D isn’t as good as SIU’s.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 8:24 pm 7-7 in the middle of the first quarter after long TD passes for each team.

The Danes played well last night and playoff road wins are always hard to come by. Great WR play and the DL came through in the clutch.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 7:15 amWrong
Big Sky exposed as a fraud, propped up by the national voters and the polls didn’t have Albany ranks fairly until late in the year
This games should have been played in New York where Albany would’ve beaten by 28 points

Well my prediction came thru and that's all that matters.kalm wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 8:51 amThe Danes played well last night and playoff road wins are always hard to come by. Great WR play and the DL came through in the clutch.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 7:15 am

I had them slowly moving up my poll after the UNH loss. Their best 2nd half of the season win came against an overrated W&M. They rose through attrition rather than quality wins but then proved it on the field last night upsetting Idaho.
Albany gave up 424 yards to a team that’s been struggling on offense so yes, SIU’s defense held Idaho more in check.
As for the Big Sky, it’s clearly the 2nd best conference by a significant amount. The computers, SoS, playoff results all suggest so.
That’s why the game was played in Moscow as it should have been.
