GREAT WEST WEEK 1 PREDICTIONS

Ive decided to post every single week what i think the predictions for GREAT WEST CONFERENCE games that week will be. Everyone feel free to post and critique.

WEEK 1

-Southern Utah vs Dixie State: A team looking to prove alot in 09 playing a subpar D2 opponent. (Southern Utah: 42-10).

-UC-Davis @ Fresno State: The Aggies will be pretty good this year, but i think Fresno will pull it out in the end after a decent first half. (Fresno State: 35-17).

-North Dakota @ Texas Tech: A very hard opening game for the Sioux will start with a young offense, Texas Tech in a blowout. (Texas Tech: 56-10).

-South Dakota vs William & Penn: South Dakota opens with a thumping of NAIA William & Penn, defense gets some needed experience. (South Dakota: 49-7)

-Cal Poly: Bye Week

I'll be SHOCKED if Tech stops at 56 against UND.

Good to hear you're gonna do this each week Tbird, I will look forward to it. I think you have a pretty good looking prediction set but AZ is probably right on the Texas Tech one.

They are all big huge mismatches, so the picks ought to be easy:

SUU
Fresno State
Texas Tech
South Dakota

That said, Dixie State has a win under its belt. Their passing game looked great, running game poor, special teams poor and defense for most of the game pretty good. Of course, up the road in Cedar City will be a lot harder for them than Adams State was for them at home.
