Ramaswamy is the only conk potus primary candidate who has said he would pardon Trump. The others have danced around the question.

Ramaswamy is now my clearcut #3 behind Trump and Desantis.

Factoring in that likely GOP primary voters are a small percentage of the population, I would estimate that 75% of voting age Americans believe there was a security risk.

I would love to see the moral and logical hoops that illiberal democrats would jump through to justify their attacks on woman of color like Nikki Haley. The hypocrisy would be through the roof.

Interesting. Why wasn't that approach followed for Hillary Clinton who has considerably less or lower character than Nikki Haley. :coffee:

And every conk candidate should pledge the same. The last 105 years probably several million have trained at Bragg, as its been known for over a century, and deployed out of there for WWI, WWII, Korea, Nam, Gulf Wars I and II. Home of the 82nd Airpborne, US Army Special Operations Command amd Special Warfare School..Referred to in the Army (and often Hollywood lexicon for that matter) as simply Bragg. Probably the most iconic base in the entire US military..

Plus Bragg was triple great uncle

It amazes me that MAGAts can't understand why some people would be offended by a a military installation being named after a traitor while those snowflakes are offended if a school teaches about racism and African American history.

Lol its the snowflakes who were the ones pushing the name change the last 3 years. It wasn’t an issue until the snowflakes brought it up. I’m sure most of the soldiers who trained and deployed out of Bragg over the last century plus weren’t offended by the name.

And lol its the snowflakes who get bent out of shape if schools don’t allow the teaching of CRT.

Overnight? Of course not. In a short period of time? Absolutely. Inflation is a money supply problem. Too much money chasing too few goods will always cause inflation. Trump played a part in this most recent inflation bubble, no doubt. He signed an unnecessary COVID relief bill in the December of his lame-duck period. However, the lion-share of the inflation came from Biden then going way beyond what Trump spent 4 months later, and added to after that, as well as with the Federal Reserve being way too slow to realize the binge spending by the government couldn't be coupled with near zero interest rates. Those events all match perfectly with inflation sky rocketing, so it's not even much of a debate anymore, other than the political points to be scored.

Let's face it, this is a great thing. Bragg was without a doubt one of the worst generals in the entire Civil War, and he fought for the losing side. If there was ever evidence of "Lost Cause" thought run amok it was in naming a base after this guy in the first place. This was a wrong that has been long in coming in being corrected. The sad thing is that people for years didn't even know that the base was named after a profoundly poor general. Even sadder is people now, like you, who should know the history since we're actually talking about it, still trying to cling to this. Again, Bragg was a terrible general. And he, fortunately, fought for the side trying to break up the Union. No base should ever be named for him. Period. :coffee:

If the name is no big deal and pushing the name change makes you a snowflake then complaining about the name change or pushing to change it back also makes you a snowflake.

Bragg was a traitor and a loser who got his ass kicked by US Grant.

I don't want schools to teach CRT but I do think they should be teaching about actual history including slavery, racism, Jim Crow, the many contributions of African Americans to the USA, etc. Snowflakes like desantis and his supporters are offended by and afraid of the truth. It happened. Get over it and teach the truth not some whitewashed version to protect peoples' fragile egos.

Without Trump’s April 2020 2.3t relief bill might have had serious issues due to the full fleged panic going on due to this new virus from China.

Without Trumps .9T Dec 2020 and Bidens 1.9T March 2021 so called relief bill would have been not only fine, but better off with way lower inflation last 2 1/2 years. Same goes for the other 2t in so called infrastructure and inflation reduction. That extra 5T in spending combined with Fed keeping rates at zero blew the lid off inflation..

1). What would the economy have looked like without Trump’s relief bill, much less Biden’s?
The easy answer is we'll never know, since we didn't let that happen and there's no way to know for sure what would've happened. With that said, it does follow logic that the significant increase in inflation that accompanied Trump's smaller bill, and then Biden's much more significant bill several months later, was indicative of what was already the widespread belief at the time that we were already coming out of the COVID economy and were in pretty decent shape. There was plenty of commentary at the time that the economy did not need additional "reflief". What was cast as "COVID relief" at that point in time wasn't really relief any longer. The proof for that is the inflation that followed. As we said at the time, the progressives mistaken belief at the time that modern monetary policy meant that there was no actual limit to government spending and it wouldn't harm the economy was proven on the macro scale to be incredibly false. I'm not sure we really needed that lab experiment to be tried on the whole country, and given our disparate impact on the world, on the entire world, but hubris is something that both sides of the aisle have in ample supply.

Spending that amount of money and calling it inflation reduction (which even the authors of the bill at the time said was just marketing, not reality) will stand as one of the most asinine things government has done in the past 50 years, and considering Trump was 4 years of that timeframe makes that even more remarkable.
