UND vs MONTANA??

I've never been to a game at Holt or Kibbie, but methinks the atmosphere might be a tad bit different in the Alerus Center or the Fargodome.........

Holt you're probably right but not with the games I've been to at the Kibbie Dome. I'm not talking about today's Idaho I'm talking about when they were a juggernaut making playoff runs and so forth.

The atmosphere can not be changed by having rabid fans alone as I am talking about watching a game inside. I'm not trying to put down the atmosphere but it is lacking a piece if you are playing indoors. Now playing indoors to a 1/2 empty dome would the worst case and you guys don't have that problem.

Just to reiterate. I don't harbor any ill will about Montana buying out SDSU and I'm definitely not going all NDSU on this one, SDSU got exactly what they signed up for. Made my comment based solely on past history, I know Montana is going to UC Davis this year and went to Poly last year which I thought was great. I just don't think UND has the same Cache as those 2.

The righteous indignation from some being offended on SDSU's and Cal Poly's behalf is fucking hysterical. Most of them are the NDSU douchebags so it makes it even funnier.

Too much discussion about the Alerus for a game that won't be played... there I said it. I'd wager just about anything on that... (bitch all you want Griz fans, but the reputation isn't without cause, and there's not really anything wrong if they pay the buyout... just sayin)

I've been in the Alerus though... felt like the airplane hangar at the Minneapolis Airport, the one big thing the FFD has going for it as an indoor football venue is that it doesn't feel like that at all.

Well all the travel games in a short period of time didn't help but I do know that some in the athletic department were living pretty large from what I witnessed at some of the away games I went to. I imagine it was not only when they were on the road.

They were a top team in the BSC and making the playoffs and every time I was there (3) they were packed and noisy. Of course I was only there when the Griz were there so that may have had something to do with it.
