No, but with responsible use most deaths are avoidable, just like using any kind of gun. My question is this: Why bring something that will automatically bring attention to yourself at a public place? Unless you are a member of the secret service there is no need of bringing a gun. Most people leave their house to have a good time, not to be worried about someone's constitutional right to have gun at a social outing. Guns have their place, that's why police are there to take that disasterous element out of the equation.

BTW, I did mention police in an earlier post, but that was to argue the mental state of the person, not constitutionality.

Totally, dude. You exercise your Constitutional, nay, God-given right to carry your arsenal with you to protest outside of a presidential speech on a topic completely unrelated to firearms, and some goddamn little chickenshit cocksucker gets all pissy about it. What a bunch of ****' crybabies, huh? **** 'em if they can't take a little bit of blatant intimidation.

At least I'll be an alive chickenshit cocksucker crybaby that can't take a little bit of blatant intimidation. :D

Agree....just like anyone who exercises their right to free speech also have the right to look & sound like a douchebag....but I wouldn't want their rights restricted nor my rights restricted...

It may be a constitutional right, but I shouldn't have to "potentially" die because of it either. Their are no wars going on in this country, what's the need for it. I don't trust people enough to have sound judgment when using a weapon of death, that also goes for police, military, and the such. Just because they're trained doesn't mean their mind is in the right place. Most people carry weapons with the intent to kill. I'm not dieing because it's his or anyone else's constitutional right to have one, thank you. I will choose life everytime. :coffee:

Many people carry weapons with intent to protect themselves. Right to Bear Arms is about protecting yourself(well, at least its orginial intent was).

Not these days. :shake: It seems like barricading yourself to your house seems to be the only option. Even that has dire consequences.

I can only speak for those that I know and witness, but I sincerely doubt most gun carrying citizens, are doing so they can kill someone.

My dad carries a gun for protection when his job takes him to the East side of Charleston (bad section).

He was a southern actor that hated Lincoln, and was engaged to an Abolisionists from Mass. His love of the south really doesn't make him a conservative or deny he was a liberal. Can't rewrite history from the 1860's with 2009 views and morals.

That filth is your response. Why do you have to be so personal? What is so wrong with being out of harms way when **** happens?

Uhh..actually yeah. Not sure where I saw that he was fighting people. I might have to read the article again. So if you and me, and some other folks, met for dinner in Missoula you would be frightened for your life because I may or may not be carrying?
If **** hits the fan, hell yeah. You wouldn't use it on me, but the other guy misses you who gets hit. I'm just saying, unarmed innocent victim, all that is avoidable pure and simple.
