MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

JMU was up 45-14 on Elon after 3 qtrs then went into siesta mode, won 45-21.

Cole Johnson 1st half 21-22, 276 yds, 5 TDs.
Finished 22-25, 307 yds, 6 TDs, 0 INTS.

Like I said in the GOTW thread was huge for JMU to get their AA OT back, out since the 1st game. He flat out dominated..

NDZU under Entz is not the same NDZU that they were under Klieman/Bohl. They aren't as disciplined.

JMU defense dominated per usual. Elon had 183 yds going into the 4th qtr, got 100 4th qtr..

BTW the CAA pre season offensive POTY JMU Percy Obese is done for the season. Missed 1st 3 games then played next 3 guess re injured vs UD last week. #2 RB (who started 1st 3 games) season ending injury bs Webber. Good thing JMU goes 6 deep at RB. But #s3-6 aren’t as good as #s1-2. Injuries are piling up. Everyone has them. Next man up here, next man up there.

IIRC, the punter bobbled the snap and tried to punt. Only 3 penalties yesterday, vast improvement on stupid penalties from the previous week. Kobe Johnson's 97 yard rush, was the longest in NDSU history. Johnson nearly broke another long one, 70+ yards,on his next offensive play, but was still gassed from the previous play. Only a 47 yard run.

Was it a bad snap? This is one reason I object to the modern practice of automatically making the punter the holder for place-kicks. Punters don't always handle bad snaps very well. Generally, coaches do this because they can let the "goofballs" be alone together so they can focus on everything else. I prefer quarterbacks in the role (not necessarily the starting quarterback, but it could be) because they handle bad snaps more often and generally react to them better because of that. A notable exception to that argument, however, is that idiot Tony Romo, who couldn't handle a bad snap to save his life, especially when he was holding. A positive counter-example would be Rams safety Nolan Cromwell, who was an outstanding placement holder. But in general, I'd still rather have a quarterback do it. It's not just the snap: quarterbacks are better trained in ball handling (running with the ball and passing it, both likely results of a bad snap). And a great additional reason would be fakes, particularly running speed option to the kicker. Most pure punters can't run or pass to save their lives. (I'll leave off my QB-P argument to save your sanity. ;-) )
