It took me awhile to finish that post. I forgot where I was. I certainly didn't mean to indicate that they were historically SWAC. They were actually a D-II call-up to the playoffs that year, something we don't see anymore except here in Cali at the high school level (and possibly in other states; all y'all would know that better than me). While 89 only mentioned the SWAC, I got the feeling that he meant all HBCUs, though there's a good chance I'm wrong about that.

Correct. FAMU has never won a playoff game as a SWAC member... and probably never will.

I was referring to SWAC. That's who Dal wanted to participate.

I was referring to SWAC. That's who Dal wanted to participate.

I'd like to see both the SWAC and the MEAC in. The Ivies, too. The SWAC and the MEAC are out because of greed, while the Ivies are out because of hypocrisy. While both reasons are bad, there is more integrity in how the SWAC and MEAC are handling it, because they're at least acknowledging the greed....

This is why I wished that the SWAC had not relinquished its AQ status yrs ago this is the perfect time for the SWAC to put itself on the map for FCS FOOTBALL.I wanted to see what Deion and his staff would do in the playoffs nothing against the Celebration Bowl but I want too see the SWAC play against the cream of the crop at the FCS level in the postseason.
