:? Don’t you have a CCU game to worry about vs some state directional school?
OOOOH BURN!

Can I not root for more than 1 team? :suspicious: I grew up a Citadel fan.

I'm not sure La-Monroe counts a directional school since it lacks a direction in the school name.

And no, we aren't worried about it.

Similar to how the bizumbs vs the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind would win game of the week on AGS?

I didn’t say you were the only one. There are several posters here hanging out on a I-AA football board when their team is no longer I-AA/FCS.

And will maybe take you up on that someday..

And please don't tell me it's because I said "bizumbs", there aren't that many fan bases as anal retentive about the pronunciation of their mascot's name as bizumb fans. Maybe it's my toxic masculinity but they're just asking to be teased.

I'm not poking fun at all bizumb fans, just the thin-skinned ones who are anal retentive about how bison is pronounced. It wouldn't be nearly as much fun to poke fun of them if they didn't get their panties in such a bunch. :poke: ;)

It's akin to subtle differences in the English language by locals. 1 mile from where I grew up, they pronounced Schedule as Shedule, and about was pronounced aboot, and the letter Z is pronounced Zed. University of Manitoba calls their sports teams Bisons, similar to how 88 pronounces it.

So the Bizon are kind of like the Univerzity of North Dakota Fighting Hawkz, Harvard Crimzon, Oklahoma Zooners, etc. ;)
