Now 42-28 after a fumble-return TD (both TDs in the last 30 seconds of the 3Q  )

The Bison defense took away the run game for Albany, except a couple times when they substituted that running QB. Albany 0-13 on 3rd down conversions. Timing of penalties killed Bison drives. 2nd and 36 or 2nd and 19 can do that. Some stupid penalties too, aka Volson PF, and ball handling by Patterson. Good start to the season otherwise. Overall Patterson looked good, running game was back. Passing game looked fine, despite a couple drops by Watson. Even Miller looked good yesterday. The Albanian QB wasn't too bad either.

Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

That’s almost as bad as say being up by 3 TDs with under 2 min left, and running a fake FG.

Dinged up. Not expecting stiff resistence from Morehead.

JMU 7-0 early 1st.
JMU AA OT left field on crutches after injury 2nd Qtr. :ohno:

Only up 17-3 at halftime.. :ohno:
Final 68-10. Think the most I’ve seen JMU put up in a half is 49. 51 might be a new record.

Outgained Morehead 688-196.
Morehead actually finished tied for 2nd with Sam Diego in the PFL last Spring. Props to the Morehead QB. From their game notes on their QB:
"All-PFL First-Team selection in the spring season. He led PFL in passing efficiency, passing TDs, passing yards, points responsible for, and points responsible for per game. Pappas enters his final season with 3,553 career passing yards and 30 TDs. He has four career rushing scores well."
Was sacked 3 times vs JMU, took a bunch of hits, and spent much of the game running for his life. Went 22 of 41 for 243, 0 TD/3 INT) (Morehead was -57 yds rushing) He could sling it on the run though. Of the above JMU players sittong out, none of that mattered except the 2 secondary guys.

Yeah, JMU shouldn’t be playing a non scholly PFL (everyone on the JMU board bitches about it). But we ain’t the only FCS power doing it. Next week NDSU hosts Valpo. MT St hosts Drake and San Diego over the next couple of weeks. UNI hosts St Thomas.

Just before the half, the FAMU quarterback was called for grounding on a blind pass he threw to avoid a sack he was already caught in. He was lucky that pass didn't turn into a pick six....

I'd prefer to watch the Grambling game, but it's on NFL Network, which I can't access right now....

This was a 14 point game entering the 4th. Not sure if UNC is better than usual of the Buffs are that shitty. Either way, I watched the highlights and UNC should be able to move the ball through the air quite a bit this season. Probably an early pick for "most improved" team in my book.

B-C in red zone with 2:11 left.

Hornets still up 19-7 with 1:41 left.
Hornet OL looked awful. Hornet secondary had mishaps that any competent QB/WR tandem scores a long TD on. Over all very unimpressive game by the Hornets. O'Hara looks like he'll be exciting to watch. Defensive front looked aggressive.

Lots to work on for both side of the ball, not seeing a competitive game against UNI next week.

JMU title hopes just took a big hit. AA OT, and 1 of top 2 Sr JMU NFL prospects, out for the season AGAIN with season ending knee injury suffered 2nd qtr vs Morehead. Also suffered season ending shoulder injury 2nd game of Spring. Being replaced by a highly recruited 2nd yr Fr who played/started 1 game in the Spring.
https://www.dnronline.com/sports/colleg ... 304b7.html

This is on top of losing from the Spring a pair of 1st team All CAA OL, one an AA, at the other OT spot, both of whom graduated and decided not to return.

JMU is loaded everywhere (had all starters from the Spring back except for the 2 OL), plus bunch of injured, plus 9 transfers (mix of P5/G5/I-AA) EXCEPT for OL. But you aint making Frisco without a very good OL..We’ll see..
