Are they doing that by mandating the use of early voting drop boxes? Are they stopping people from voting by ensuring weekend voting and even voting on Sundays? What will Georgia do next to stop people from voting - mandate that people already in line when the voting period ends are still allowed to vote? The outrage.

If I misused it, I apologize. It obviously means something different to me. In this context, equal access to political leaders.

That's equity. Why should you have a better score just because you're a better golfer? Why should someone who works hard, takes risks and is in the right place at the right time have more money than someone who doesn't?

Re: All Things California
Not sure if trolling but I was talking about equity when it comes to political access not wealth or income. There’s always going to be greater access with wealth but we can do better. The current system is built on corruption.
If you and I have a friendly match I’m playing as a scratch against your net score. We might even negotiate the spread but your USGA HDCP would probably suffice since we wouldn’t be playing for fingers and toes. If it’s an actual competition we wouldn’t even be in the same flight and probably playing from different tees. Life isn’t flighted...and the world (and my industry) needs ditch diggers too.... but I digress.

And I agree that we can do better but the goal should be equality/equal opportunity, not equity/equal outcomes.GannonFan wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 6:44 am Equality is a different argument than equity. If we don’t have equity of outcome for two individuals born and raised in the same household, with the same parents, the same values, and the same opportunities, how do they propose to legislate equity of outcome for entire disaffected groups?

Agreed, I've seen that one too and have chuckled at it. There is no doubt that there is a wide gap of talent in this world. If you can't see that then you're just not looking.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Thu Jun 17, 2021 9:48 amSomewhat related:
