And just so we're clear on the points scored in today's environment:
- Is the government spend, spend, spending under the guise of recovery? Yes.
- Is the government taking on an increasing amount of debt (bust the government) as a result? Yes.
- Are there people blaming capitalists and capitalism? Yes from Amazon and the pharmaceutical companies profiting from the Pandemic to blaming other societal ills on capitalism.
- Are there people that want to "junk" the Constitution? Yes.
The irony, Skelly is pointing out is legit. Not all New Deal programs worked but many did and continue to. Yet somehow...someway...still capitalists despite. Phew!
Should capitalism be held accountable for its downsides?
