You're the only a-hole talking about blowing you out, Smithers.

Regardless, you're still lowly SUU. You will be forever. And ever.

First of all, Bill Gates, clean up your fvcking reply. You fucked it up, see?

Second, I don't get upset. I will, however, go to my grave stamping out ignorance such as yours, son.

It was a win, the Cats walked away, looked at the video, and forgot about it a day later.

Facts:
-UNI was #4 in the country
-SUU was 4-6
-Was 17-17 at halftime
-Was only a two touchdown game at the end of the third
-You guys couldnt put us away

Overall: At team that was ranked #4 that had trouble with a 4-6 team at the time...yeah i would call that a near upset, you guys got the win but we sure as hell made you work for it and sweat a bit :thumb:. If anyone is being ignorant its you

You're very delusional, son. We beat YSU on a blocked extra point at the last second, 21-20. Ain't no one there celebrating like your dumb ass!        :shake: :shake: :shake:

But I can't argue with that kind of "proof". SUU won that game!!!! And, thus, you win the argument!!!!

What's your prediction for this year? You haven't answered that yet. Break down the schedule for us.

Tbird the more you do this kind of stuff the more people will discount you and not take you seriously. You played them close for a while but I never got the feeling you were gonna win that game. It didn't end up being that close of a game. It was a respectable showing by the birds but to try and make it like it was anything more than that is pretty silly and if that's how you want to come across then that's cool with me. :thumb:

This is a reverse "Boy that cried wolf" situation that you have set up for yourself. Nobody is gonna have any regard for your opinions because of the box you put yourself in by saying that your team is good because it is at the level of the good teams for portions of the game.

You need to step back and see how pathetic it looks to others that you crow about close losses my friend cuz it makes me feel bad for you.

Crowing about a loss? I havent done that at all, the only thing i have done is said that we did come close to upsetting the panthers which is true since 10 points is not exactly a big loss, i was not saying we lost we are awsome. And i have been quite mature about this whole thing whereas capn is being immature and pathetic sounding by hurling childish insults and im the one at fault for sticking up for my team? so...what am i from now on supposed to take everyone elses word as gospel and leave the posting to you guys? :?

Never said anyone's at fault Tbird just sayin' that you don't come off real well for whatever reason when you are tying to defend losses. It comes off looking like you guys are the little brother that almost pinned his big brother that one time and then he sat up and threw ya down and farted in your face. Now when the little brother finally pins the big brother...then you have a story to talk about. That's the only point I'm trying to make is that you lose cred by telling how close you came to pinning him when you didn't get it done, It just don't look good buddy. :thumb:

If you're in I'd like to get a cool Tbirds T shirt so if you have a link and want to trade go hit Weber Wildcat's thread and we'll place our orders.

There is nothing wrong with a fan having pride about his football team playing a better team well, I felt good about Weber when they held Montana touchdownless and lost 12-7 in 2003, and if Im not mistaken UM was ranked #1 or #2 at that time.

Exactly my point wildcat, i guess that montana fans really haven't known what that feels like no offense, you guys are either really good or beat up d2 teams, but when you have been a cellar dweler for so long a well played game and progress makes us proud :thumb:

Utah boys...that is what you aren't getting here is that there is a problem in taking pride in playing a good team close ESPECIALLY if it's a good team in your own division. That is the part that is kind of sad to me. If you take any amount of pride in it then you expected to lose and are surprised that you were even close. That just doesn't speak well for your programs is all I'm saying.

That is Cap'ns point when he says there are no moral victories. You comport yourselves as fans that are surprised you played close and have pride in the alternative to winning.

You would be much better served to let us fans of the other teams be surprised when you play close. Jus sayin'...

And to you in particular Tbird, most of us do have that perspective. I remember my Griz teams just barely losing to Boise teams, Nevada, Idaho, and MSU teams before we made it over the hump to become a highly regarded team in the early 90's. Losing a close games to those good teams was a terrible loss and I never got any good feeling from it. Even if the other team gets a late TD to make the margin wider how can you take anything away from that that is good. Both teams are well aware that the game is played for the entire 60 minutes...no more, no less. Scores that happen in the last two minutes count as much and therefore MEAN as much as scores at any other point in the game. I would bet that the SUU players know that all to well and I seriously doubt that they would be in agreement with you when you argue these points. I would bet they would agree with Cap'n Cat.

Gotta agree with Ursus on this one. There is something wrong with you Utah fans, & I dont understand it. You guys blab all day long about SUU being better than half the teams in the sky (which is flase), then Weber fans go from December '08 to August '09 braging about a co-conf title. You guys are getting way too much milage outta that. Good job Weber, u finally pulled urself up from 0-11 to win a title. Now let it go! And SUU! win 4 conf games and you've got the conf title! How hard is that? :coffee:

Who the Hell is EASTERN WASHINGTON?!? I can respect Montana for what they've achieved in football, but EASTERN!!! WOW... You have such a great record against the lowly SUU T-Birds 2-1, and your record against Weber is so much better an overwhelimg 14-13. And the season that you shared your last championship, your record was 7-5 and you lost to WEBER. You did repay us last season, but who cares. Before SAC joined the conference EASTERN was the joke, in a lot of ways it still is. Even after an extensive renovation EASTERN's stadium is still a piece of Shiz. It can't even hold 9,000, and the field is by far the worst in the SKY.

I just look on the bright side of things, dont really see anything wrong with that, what i should just bow my head saying we lost and complain about it? No thanks, i coach football and ive learned after a loss you take the positive things out of it and build upon that so you can win the next week, and it has worked very well with my teams (18-2 past to seasons). I know that we lost im not saying we should have won or crap like that, im taking the positive things out of that game and that is we competed quite well with a highly ranked team. And do you know exactly what SUU players felt? Because it sure seems like we were stoked after last season based off all the articles about us because we did better then anyone else expected us to and i know we would have been happier with a win, but we can take from nearly beating UNI and build upon that for the future :thumb:

NOR COL has the smallest stadium, & Eastern's stadium high is 11k! There was no extensive renovation, they just added endzone seating and a new pressbox. So sit down, shut up, & wait till the Colorado school of mines moves up to DIV 1. btw you need to focus on losing about 75 lbs you impotent, doughnut lovin bastard!

Thats twice as many fans as those that attend EASTERN games...Does Eastern even have fans? Like I said before. The only reason why Eastern isn't the Big Sky joke is because Sacramento State is now a member, yet, even then...Eastern is definitely an embarrashment.
