Re: 2009 football posters
Very cool.
The ASU athletic department has really dropped the ball with this kind of stuff. I'd love to see posters, wallpaper, buddy icons, etc., to be used online.
Here's a poster/wallpaper from 2005. The best I can do.

UM puts one out every season, but I have no idea where to find it online.

It'll be one of the banner ads on the right side of the screen when they put it up on MTGRIZ's site which I assume will be about Friday if I have my rhythm down right.Grizalltheway wrote:UM puts one out every season, but I have no idea where to find it online.

On the cover
# 70 - Calvin Gore - OL
# 9 - Brad George - QB
# 8 - Travis Houston - DB
# 44 - Joe Bell - LB
# 22 - Alvin Canady - RB
Not sure who is between Calvin & Brad George. Any idea Sly?
We had a really cool one earlier this year with just Travis Houston, but I didn't get to snag it, as the intro page for the Athletic site.

Its hard to tell. At first I thought it was Will Thompson but the jersey looks like it has double digits on it so thats not him.CatMom wrote:On the cover

That's general admit price for 6 home games. It's $15 at the gate per game (so saving $18). 6 yrs ago they were $8 at the gate. I imagine they'll go up again soon.

You can't buy tickets at the gate and they are like $32-50+ for regular games. I got one set of the cheapest available to have as extras when friends come to town and they were $196.00 with no MSU game in town this year.CatMom wrote:Ursus A. Re: 2009 football posters
That's the difference between your successful program and ours; that is finally starting to go somewhere. Before the 2005 playoff run they were $8 a game. For the playoffs they were $12 and stayed there for 1 year. Went up in 2007 to $15.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:You can't buy tickets at the gate and they are like $32-50+ for regular games. As the stadium is upgraded and the team becomes more consistent winners (here's to hoping on that one) I believe the prices will go up. Unless and until we get that winning mindset, people are still going to go to UT games and I doubt getting tickets at the gate will be a problem.

BTW - that's our all everything DB Travis Houston, even if he hasn't gotten the recognition. Our best kept secret. Smart too, was a COSIDA All American as well as an Arthur Ashe Academic. Uses that brain on the field as well.CatMom wrote:Here's that other splash from about 2 months ago. I found it.
Re: 2009 football posters
Got a guy on eGriz that'll be emailing me the image and I'll put it up...unless MrT wants to post a picture of it since I know he has one.

I haven't taken a pic of it yet.. kinda cool. Has all of the seniors in maroon t-shirts/sweatshirts and the slogan is "Paint Montana Maroon." Then it has the helmet schedule across the bottom like it did last year.
