A Republic is founded on the rule of law, not "my feelings"

Too many of us forget that
a law should be reasonable logical and enforceable
if it is not all 3 of these things then it is very likely just emotional reactive
and thus not something that should be a law

(FREEDOM) first

if we took every unenforceable law off the books we'd have 50% fewer laws (ask the Cops on this forum)
if we took every illogical law off the books we'd have 1/2 again as many (ask the lawyers on this forum)
if we then took every unreasonable law off the books we'd lose another 25% (ask the philosophers on this forum)

and we'd be down to about the right amount of Laws
