Playoffs

NICH 13-37 NDSU
ILST 24-14 UCA
ALB 21-47 MTST
AP 42-28 SAC
KENN 20-26 WEB
SELU 28-73 UMT

MONM 21-66 JMU

  • Best Performance: Austin Peay 42, (#4) Sacramento St. 28 - JaVaughn Craig puts up 368 yards of total offense and 3 total touchdowns to help the Governors move to 2-0 all-time in the playoffs.

Worst Performance: (#8) Central Arkansas 14, Illinois St. 24 - The Bears also fall victim to the James Robinson express, allowing him to run for 210 yards and 2 TDs.

Most Surprising Result: (#4) Sacramento St. 28, Austin Peay 42 - In their first-ever playoff game, the Hornets wait until well into the third quarter to finally wake up.

SWAC Championship

SU 24-39 ALCORN

  • Best Performance: Alcorn St. 39, Southern 24 - The Braves score 16 non-offensive points (KR TD, INT TD, Safety) and win their 4th. SWAC title in the last 6 years.

Worst Performance: Southern 24, Alcorn St. 39 - It's really difficult to win a conference-championship game when you commit 6 turnovers.

    Most Surprising Result: (none)

Correction: The Hornet OFFENSE waited until well into the third quarter to finally wake up. The defense and special teams sleepwalked through the entire contest, and the coaching left a lot to be desired, too....

Frankly I was floored to see how your game played out. In full disclosure I was full of whiskey when I was floored. None the less, I did not recognize the Sacramento State team I saw earlier this year.

Your Montana hatred has come back to get you. You've paid your price. You are now forgiven. Don't let it happen again. :suspicious:

I don't believe SH has ever been a Montana hater. He's definitely shown signs of being a Bobcat hater, but that's always understandable. :thumb:

Giving him grief for posting he was pulling for "Albany & Southeastern Louisiana" to win this weekend. All is forgiven now. :ugeek:

I'm actually more upset about that "they" comment on another thread on one of the other boards here....
