This reminds me:
So my son's school played a varsity soccer game a couple of weeks ago in 95 degree heat.
One of the players began bleeding from his nipples because of the rub of his shirt. I never heard of that before. Then people were saying that long distance runners have that problem sometimes.
So he will either use a half shirt like above under his jersey or use bandaids (pasties) on hot days.

I can sympathize though because I've experienced the nipple rash from riding waves on a canvas-blowup raft as a kid. Never had a problem on a surfboard though because the hard board allowed you to lift your chest enough.
