i don't doubt that. I'll meet and share a beer with anyone.

Heck, I may meet up and share a brew with BDK in a couple of weeks.

It's funny you say that today. Was thinking about one of my office mates who used to be joking all the time, laughing, smiling, etc... Since Trump got elected he smiles a lot less, almost never jokes and quite honestly has become a complete asshole toward me. I haven't changed at all, but he's become unhinged.

My far right friends on FB still post dumb ****. My far left friends on FB still post dumb ****. But now my slightly left leaning friends, who to my knowledge never posted political stuff on FB, can't stop.

If you seriously think conservatives have become "fragile" more than liberals have become "outraged", "irrational" and/or "petty"... well, you've been fully converted and there may be no hope for you.
I see the same thing. One person who never posted political stuff, freaked out and went off the edge with anti-Trump stuff, and is not on facebook anymore. He just went dark. He lived in Iowa, last I knew.

By BIL post Trump stuff to get to a couple liberals relatives, and he gets them going once in a while.

He doesn't belong to a party its why both the liberals and GOP won't work with him.

I have multiple family members who literally needed to seek counseling because of Trump's win. They've gone from (what I considered) strong Montana women to full-on Trump Derangement Syndrome. Whimpering idiots who are convinced the world is going to come crashing down at any moment, that women are going to begin having abortions by coat hanger any minute, that we're mere moments from launching against NoKo, that Trump and Putin sleep together every night, that he's going to disband the government and become a dictator, and that he's over at Fort Knox loading his pockets with gold bars every night.

It's truly fucking comical. They literally will not acknowledge the improvement in the economy, the jobs reports, the wage reports, the GDP reports, the stock market reports, etc., etc.....it's all "Trump is the devil and if you support him you're the devil too!!!" OK, bitch. Have it your way.

89 - Unfortunate, but their may be other issues you're unaware of.

AZ - If you don't see why women would be worried about GOP policies and judicial nominations, I'm not sure what to tell ya. Republicans have raged a systemic attack on women for quite a while, from abortion policies to reducing workplace discrimination protections to weakening affirmative action policies.

Nope. Not related. This is purely a Trump Derangement issue. They are convinced the world is about to end. Literally. And I am not kidding. As in...unable to have a coherent discussion. As in, curled up in the fetal position....

That doesn't mean most women (or men) want abortion rights taken away.

Pro-life doesn't mean anti-choice:

But Republicans are hell-bent on this war against women, even though every scientific study and real-life statistic shows there are significantly better ways to reduce abortions.

So your saying that pro life isn't anti choice?

That is like saying pro life is pro choice.

I'm not saying it, the American people are. See link above.

People are split between pro-choice and pro-life, yet 70% don't want Roe vs. Wade overturned. I know you can't relate, but others have an ability to separate beliefs from policy.

I relate very well. And I guarantee you that as a conservative independent, I could care less if roe v wade is ever over turned. 50 million murdered babies can not be brought back.

I don't belong to any religious institution either, so that is also off the table.

We really need to use correct terminology though, it is pro life or anti life.

This so called "choice" is not a two way steet. Women have always had the "choice" to take the baby full term.

This so called "choice" is a code word for "anti life" because it sounds better.

We would have a better view of what people wanted if we used the correct term "anti life" instead of "pro choice"

They have always had the choice to give birth Einstein, through out history, that has always been available to them, which is how your Mommy brought you here.

The choice they wanted with roe v wade is to "terminate" the life.

Hence, Anti life .... lmao
