Boycotts tend to not work in either direction. I’m guessing Chik fil A survived its public fear of the gay? (We don’t have any here).
No ****. You not gonna fly Delta or United because you're boycotting? OK...guess you're driving everywhere then...because you've eliminated about 70% of the flights on the planet.

Like has already been stated, Chik-fil-A has good food & service (its great for a fast food chain).
August 2012 ago the pro gay rights crowd got in a tizzy because the Chick fil-A founder & CEO came out against gay marriage, and the company donated to a bunch of christian groups that wanted to keep marriage between a man and a woman. Chik-fil-A was VILLIFIED by the left and MSM. After the left announced boycotts, which amounted to squat, there was Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day where millions around the country packed stores, sometimes waiting in lines for hours for food. And Chik-fil-A just continued to grow since the whole flap. At the time Chick-fil-A had around 1700 restaurants. Hit its 2,000 store in march of 2016. Now it has (wiki) over 2200.I was already eating there. Just started to more often. I eat there several times a month.
2013 was 1775 Chik-fil-A, mostly in the south, avg earnings 3.2 million per store (more than 3x the avg profit of the close to 5k KFCs) DESPITE not being open on Sundays.. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business ... 310bc7a125

Which airline has the largest presence at your nearest airport(s)?
American by far. PHL is an AA hub.

so instead of flying airlines who are ELIMINATING their NRA discount, you're going to fly an airline that NEVER gave a discount EVER.

The NRA discount applied when travelling to an NRA convention. So...I still don't understand how BDK can be upset. He and the others seem triggered...like liberal snowflakes.

Unless the article I read was wrong - wasn't the NRA discount only when travelling to an NRA convention?
I believe you read it right, but that's besides the point. Its the fact that a weak kneed business, in a knee jerk reaction, caved to a bunch of tweets from anti 2nd amendment leftists.

How you like me now, bitch? Two can play the linking game.
Nope, your post didn't discuss anything mentioned in my post outside of the 1st sentence..

You don't approve of their 1st Amendment right ( I'm sure I read that company sponsorship/discount are type of speech) to not do business with certain groups (kinda like what you're doing)?
Nice - Georgia is going to royally screw themselves and 33,000 families.
Talk about knee-jerk reactions. Why can't Republicans accept that a business can and should do what it wants?
Oh yea...that's right- they are hypocrites.
No, businesses can do what they want. Govt can request they behave in a certain way to receive tax breaks. And the business is free to decide whether to do that or not. And the business is free to stay or leave. But Actions have consequences..Nothing hypocritical at all.

There isn't a gov't request. Republicans are demanding that Delta restore ties with a lobby group in order to receive tax breaks. Try - for a minute - to not be a partisan hack and think objectively.
I'll put it in other words, it's a form of PAY TO PLAY.
And it's total bullshit. Republicans should be celebrating companies for having principles.

I absolutely approve of the companies 1st amendment right to do or not to do business with certain groups.
I also approve of customers rights to do or not to do business with certain companies that conflicts with the customers' beliefs. What is wrong with that?
Would you patronize a place that took a social/political stance that was against what you believed in, if you had other choices?
