Worst Performance: (#18) Weber St. 16, Southern Utah 32 - An injured quarterback was partially to blame, but still… this was a stunningly bad performance from what had looked like the Big Sky's most consistent team.

Most Surprising Result: Southern Utah 32, (#18) Weber St. 16 - It's clear that getting vengeance for last year's Beehive Bowl collapse was a primary goal for SUU this season. Now that's over, so can they play this well again?

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 6-4

Best Performance: Southeastern Louisiana 56, Houston Baptist 10 - While the top of the Southland really struggled against their bottom-feeding opponents, the middling Lions had no trouble with theirs.

Worst Performance: Houston Baptist 10, Southeastern Louisiana 56 - The Huskies lose rushing 376-93 and give SELU two 80+ yard defensive touchdowns.

Most Surprising Result: (#9) Sam Houston St. 40, Northwestern St. 36 - The Bearkats pull it out after inexplicably trailing the dreadful Demons for 56:24.

MIZST 30-49 WIU
ILST 7-42 SIU
NDSU 27-24 YSU (OT)

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 18-4

JU 22-37 BUT
CAMP 17-7 DAY
DVDSN 17-28 STET

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 13-19

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 3-18

Best Performance: Campbell 17, Dayton 7 - The Flyers may have QB Alex Jeske back, but the Camel defense was clearly ready to deal with him.

Worst Performance: Marist 15, Valparaiso 49 - Red Fox quarterbacks completed almost as many passes to the other team as they did to their own receivers.

Most Surprising Result: Valparaiso 49, Marist 15 - The Crusaders had displayed clear signs of improvement in the non-conference, but this was the first time they'd shown it in a PFL game.
