ESPN College Gameday coming to JMU 10/14

This game was sold out (25k) before the Gameday announcement. Ticket prices absolutely insane. On Sunday on Stubhub $150-$600. Today down to $110-$230. Probably could sell 30k tickets for this one. The attendance record of 26,069+ set 2 years ago when Gameday came will likely be broken. As will the estimated 12k that were on the Quad for Gameday 2 years go:


One thing Houston is doing differently that Withers 2 years ago: The team will not be making an apppearance.

Thanks. It would have been. Lee Fitting, ESPN VP for College Sports, said if YSU had beaten SD, Gameday would have been NDSU @ YSU.

The dominoes fell right for JMU, who was only maybe 5th to 6th in line 2 weeks ago, and maybe 4th last Sat. But then you had some upsets 2 weeks ago. And this past Sat OK was upset. Utah was upset. YSU was upset..
