Look, anybody who voted for Trump showed extremely bad judgement. There's a real argument for saying the country would be better off without people who would do something like that in the country. If it comes right down to it I wouldn't kick them out of the country.

But I do think that maybe we should have a poll test next time where we ask "Did you vote for Trump" and if the answer is "Yes" the person is not allowed to vote because they showed that they have such horrible judgement that it wouldn't be prudent to allow them to.

The precise answer is that I am disgusted. For years I saw Liberals alleging that people who vote Republican are stupid and/or ignorant. And I argued that they were wrong. But what do I say now? How can I possibly argue that the majority of people who vote Republican are not stupid and/or ignorant when that majority just voted to make THAT President of the United States?

There's just no defending it. There's just no way to say there isn't a serious problem with the conservative base.

I think it will be. Maybe in 3 years or 4 instead of 2, but it will be built- a combination of physical wall in high traffic areas, and a virtual wall of sensors and drones in others.

Why? Because in spite of evidence that it won't keep out all the illegals, border security IS a priority for the GOP, and Congress will appropriate the money for it. And why not? Our government is a case study in setting obscene amounts of one on fire- except this time it will be the newly hawkish fiscal Democrats saying "oh how will we ever pay for this???"
