Unfortunately, it took Trump to do it.

Ray of hope? Since the second debate, Trump listened to his advisors. He stuck to their talking points. And he showed that he could be "normal". Now the hope is that he will be able to surround himself with good people that will convince him to make the best decisions going forward.
Don't forget, that once Comey came out with his announcement, Trump acted quite Presidential.

If only he had spoken like that for the majority of the campaign.

Oh well...Election 2020 season starts in 3 months... :ohno:

Does that include dark money/PAC's?

Trump also received 100's of millions in free publicity. His wealth helped with that.
Free publicity is...Free. :suspicious: SO it wouldn't go into how much his campaign spent.

But I get what you're saying.

I'm just sad that all the progress made in the last eight years will practically be wiped away, especially when it comes to healthcare, the environment, and social issues. But I know you guys don't really care or agree, so there's no point arguing it. I can live with Trump, but the regression is the part that really disappoints me the most.

It's just...I don't know...a lot of thoughts are running through my head this morning. But ultimately, I simply come to the conclusion that America, especially rural America, is clinging to a world that doesn't exist anymore and they're too afraid (or lazy) to change with it.

:twocents:
Progress? :? What progress? :suspicious:

JFC Obamacare is a DISASTER. Race relations have REGRESSED.

Edit: I see several already beat me to this..

The women on CNN are upset that the women in the Rust Belt didn't vote for Hillary.

Honest, down to Earth women recognized the creep for what she was.

I know quite a few women, who supported Hillary, but never voted yesterday. It wouldn't have mattered in York County, SC, but these are white, educated women who didn't want to go out of their way.

The media just fuels the flames of discontent. All the tolerant, trigger warning millennials are probably crying right now. The Republicans have to take the high road here, not hold grudges and show that they are the party of the future.

Yeah. I see they no longer have their headline:

Good call. That's what Kaine started with. Means nothing though, when you have lost control of all three branches of Government.

It's so delicious to watch this pout session when they got NOTHING. Democrats are completely neutered for at least four years.

NOTHING.
