Election 2016: Trump vs Clinton
Re: Election 2016: Trump vs Clinton
Fun's about to start. National consortium of exit polling data was released at 5:15pm EST, so networks should be reporting them momentarily. First polls close at 6pm EST.

Republicans leading in registered voters voting in CO. Doesn't mean they necessarily voted Trump. Also doesn't mean Independents didn't go disproportionately Clinton either.

Re: Election 2016: Trump vs Clinton
voted today in Cheswold with my sister at the fire hall at around 11am.
The place was swamped with traffic, parking lot was nearly full, people coming and going constantly, we had to actually park over on the side by the liquor store and walk over.
We both voted for Trump. I also went straight Republican except for Paradee for 29th district rep because he's a family friend.

The race took a nasty turn when a prominent Trump supporter sent out a robocall attacking McMullin, which the Trump campaign has condemned.
“Evan is over 40 years old and is not married and doesn’t even have a girlfriend,” the robocall said. “I believe Evan is a closet homosexual.”

CO will go to the dark side. There are too many liberals moving into that state from California to hold out much hope. They always go blue.93henfan wrote:Republicans leading in registered voters voting in CO. Doesn't mean they necessarily voted Trump. It means that the ballot initiative "Owners may legally allow dog to lick peanut butter from their scrotum" will likely pass in CO. In fact, it may mean that JSO retires there, from that red state hellhole LA.CAA Flagship wrote:Well what the fuck does it mean?93henfan wrote:Republicans leading in registered voters voting in CO. In spite of the fact that you and your sister voted for Trump I consider reports of high turnout in Cleveland to be positive news for Clinton.DSUrocks07 wrote:voted today in Cheswold with my sister at the fire hall at around 11am.

Biggest thing I'm watching is racial demographics. Related to turnout. Right now exit polls show 70% of vote is White. If that holds it should be good news for Clinton. The final 2012 Romney/Obama exit polls had it 72% White. Lots of fuzziness but, still, if you told me ahead of time that the final exit polls have it as 70% White I'd think Clinton wins.
Course it's not the final exit polls yet.

Plus 89's wife put his Johnson in a mason jar in the closet so it pains him greatly to even think about other Johnsons.

DirecTV election mix channel is cool. CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, and BBCA all running simultaneously. It'll be neat to see who call what first.

We'll see. Exit polls aren't designed for that. Remember that we had a thing in 2004 with exit polls being touted as showing that Kerry was going to win. That's not what they're for. They're for looking at the demographics of the vote. But we'll see.CAA Flagship wrote:CNN just reported that Trump is in the lead in Florida exit polls.

John King just said on CNN that the exit polls are alarmingly in favor of Trump in rural FL. Said Clinton camp had "jitters" about the poll.CAA Flagship wrote:CNN just reported that Trump is in the lead in Florida exit polls.

On some things. You are correct about those two. Fox News reporting Trump camp "excited" about NC.
Not sure what that means though.

Re: Election 2016: Trump vs Clinton
John King was looking at NC too. Romney barely turned it back to red in 2012. That one's going to be a nailbiter, but the Republican turnout is even better than 2012.CAA Flagship wrote:Fox News reporting Trump camp "excited" about NC.
