Since I couldn't vote for Penn at Princeton, I picked JMU-Richmond.

Ivy only gets a shot at this with a 1 vs 2. Even that is meaningless to 99% of the country. Stop being such hypocrites and join the fun. Then we could finally prove what we already know... the Ivy stinks.Ivytalk wrote:Since I couldn't vote for Penn at Princeton, I picked JMU-Richmond.

At least four Ivy teams would beat Delaware this year.89Hen wrote:Ivy only gets a shot at this with a 1 vs 2. Even that is meaningless to 99% of the country. Anyway, assuming Harvard and Penn both win this week, I will expect to see Harvard-Penn on your list next week.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - WEEK TEN
Samford at The Citadel. If Samford wins, there is a likely 3-way tie for the SoCon title, and it could pave the way for a 3rd at large bid for the SoCon.
If The Citadel wins then barring an upset by VMI, El Cid will be the outright SoCon champs and then likely only 2 at large bids for the SoCon.
Sammy throws the ball like a highlight reel. We run it. The only weaknesses are Sammy's defense in general and our defense has not been tested against their kind of O. This should be an exciting match.

Making a list of who wouldn't beat Delaware would be more time effective. Not sure what they have to do with this.Ivytalk wrote:At least four Ivy teams would beat Delaware this year.89Hen wrote: Ivy only gets a shot at this with a 1 vs 2. Yes, if Harvard and Penn both win, they will most likely be on the list. Even though both suck. Too many times the Ivy champ is undefeated in league play and has one or two losses OOC. That in itself isn't damning, but their OOC schedules often suck balls. That's what stings.

With the win over UCA, solid showing against MSST, and no bad losses, Samford is a virtual lock at 8-3 for an at-large.
Edit: You were talking 3 at-larges. Wofford is a bubble team assuming they lose to UTC...regardless of what happens here.

Sucking and stinging? Mixing metaphors. You're talking about the 1% here.89Hen wrote:Harvard and Penn both suck. Their OOC schedules often suck balls. That's what stings.

Didn't a game including that very same Delaware team make the list a few weeks ago?89Hen wrote:Making a list of who wouldn't beat Delaware would be more time effective. Not sure what they have to do with this.
Honestly, 89 has been very clear that it's his poll and he's going to do it his way so get the sand out of your Chinas and quit complaining. Start your own GOW poll if you really don't like it.

True, but by that standard 89 is kicking some serious butt on these GOW threads.Vidav wrote:What the hell else are we going to do? Come to CS and not antagonize people?!?UNI88 wrote:

Delaware was still fooling a lot of people early in the year. Can't recall the game or week but was probably the best the CAA had to offer that particular week.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - WEEK TEN
Well, of course to ME it's McNeese State at Sam Houston State. It's a long shot "keep hope alive" game for McNeese. And I do think McNeese is better talent wise than any team Sam Houston State has played so far. They've screwed themselves with a lot of mistakes. They do have weaknesses in that their offensive line is new and hasn't played all that well and the same can be said for their secondary. But they also do have an really good starting front four, a really good quarterback, and really good receivers as well as running backs.
It's a long shot but bigger upsets have happened.
