So did she resign yet? Can we see the letter?JohnStOnge wrote:She was talking to me about it today. She's going to write a letter to the editor about it. Says she's going to kind of invoke Reagan. You know, Reagan said that he was a Democrat and that he didn't really leave the Democratic Party but the Democratic Party left him. So she's going to say she didn't leave the Republican Party but the Republican Party left her.
I'm proud of her. I've watched Republican after Republican sacrifice their principles in order to justify supporting the current Republican Presidential nominee. She's not going to do it.
And this is not an "establishment" Republican. As I've told y'all before she's where she is because she was recruited by "Insurgents" to challenge the "establishment" candidate for her slot. And she won.
But she just can't be part of what's going on with the Republican Party right now. She doesn't have to do this. She could go along to get along. But she's going to do it. Good for her.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The FBI has obtained a warrant to begin reviewing newly discovered emails that may be relevant to the Hillary Clinton email server investigation, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.
FBI investigators want to review emails of longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin that were found on a device seized during an unrelated sexting investigation of Anthony Weiner, a former New York congressman and Abedin's estranged husband.

I think he was trying to avoid being accused of covering up if he waited. I don't think he knows exactly what is in the emails yet93henfan wrote:Yeah, the FBI always wraps up their investigations before they even get the warrant.houndawg wrote:

But he already made an unforced error by going to the Hill in July and now he couldn't not inform Congress that there might be more to look at.
But again, regardless of where people stand on this- none of it would be happening if Hillary Clinton had simply obeyed the rules.

Re: My Wife Plans to Resign from State Republican Central Committee
Just so you know, I have been playing "devil's advocate" with my wife. Like today she said she needs to write a letter and resign and I said that she may want to stay on at least for a while. I again referred to how hard she worked to get the position. And I said that she might want to at least wait to see if Trump loses. Then if he does lose she could go in and take the position that the Republican Party needs to realize that it lost because of its decision to make Trump the nominee. So on and so forth.
We'll see what she does.
But she is genuinely concerned with the fact that the Republican Party is populated with a critical mass of people who would vote for somebody like Trump to be the nominee.

So basically like the establishment politicians that are ruining this country, your wife is no different in that she doesn't back up what she says. Got it...oh and no one on here is the least bit surprised about this. It's why a populist like Trump can run rough shod over the laughable conk establishment in the first place.JohnStOnge wrote:Just so you know, I have been playing "devil's advocate" with my wife. Ok. Looks like she's resigning. She just texted me a start to a letter of resignation she's writing. She said she says she considers it important to say she resigns before the election is over.

JSO might be the biggest casualty of this election. I don't think I've seen a person lose what little credibility he had as quickly and completely as JSO has. He's been like an earthquake that derails a train that then falls off a cliff and lands on a ship and sinks it. His disaster has been that thorough and complete.Ivytalk wrote:After you do that, post your own resignation letter from CS.com.
