Keep in mind you're dealing with Clintons here. They live for evading their crimes. They win the lifetime achievement award for criminal evasion by a duo or group.

The reason Comey announced this at all is because he did not want to be accused of covering it up before the election..... because the renewed investigation is going to take more than 11 days

By the time it is final it wont matter. She will be either President Elect or President. And either Obama can pardon her (because The People Have Spoken) or she cam do it herself.

Fauxcahontas and that snively ass Julian Castro are licking their chops because they are going to primary her ass in 4 years if she isn't impeached before then

As I said a few pages back, may as well get the impeachment paperwork in order now so it can be kicked off in January.

While it was exciting to think that they finally nailed her, I don't think they will. It's interesting that the Clinton Campaign is demanding that the information be released. I think that is a sign that they know nothing other than a few more classified e-mails are there. And there is no magic number threshold that will put her in jail.

On the other hand, if they find e-mails that show a coverup or other behaviors that affected the investigation, then they might have something. But she can't be that stupid. You don't send e-mails discussing coverups of an e-mail investigation. But then again, criminals are stupid.

It's up to you, Julian. Bring on the grand finale.
I don't think so either. The dumb squats have trying for fvcking decades but they're just too stupid..... :ohno:

Another instance of having to shake my head in amazement that there are people out there who think Trump has some kind of "honesty" edge over Clinton. I mean people who look at Clinton tending to lie and/or deceive being a factor in favoring Trump as though Trump doesn't constantly lie.

So Trump is commenting on the latest e mail thing and says Clinton lied because she said Comey only sent the letter to Republicans. Fair enough. Certainly an inaccurate statement and reasonable to think she knew it was also sent to some Democrats.

But then Trump tells his own whopper in the very next sentence by exclaiming, "The FBI would never have reopened this case at this time unless it were a most egregious criminal offence."

Total nonsense. The FBI just saw that Huma Abedin had a computer with some e mails to Clinton on it. The FBI simply saw that it has more e mails to look at. The idea that they would not have decided to look at the e mails unless there was some evidence of criminal offense is absurd and Trump is bound to know that unless he's really, really stupid. Total bullshit on his part. Demagoguery.

Had to chuckle just now at a Talking Head saying, as close as I can get to it:

"It plays into the existing narrative. Polls show that she has high percentages of people saying she's not honest and trustworthy; often higher percentages than Donald Trump...someone who has run around the country for the last year lying about just about everything."

And it's true. You've got this guy who lies practically every time he opens his mouth and you've got people acting like people should vote for him rather than Hillary even though he's obviously dangerously sick in the head because Hillary lies. It's just amazing.

Bernstein: FBI Would Not Reopen Case Unless New Evidence Was "A Real Bombshell"
Carl Bernstein wrote:We don't know what this means yet except that it's a real bombshell. So that's where we are...

The last line in this is the big one. A double standard for prosecution. Nixon was pardoned. Bush and Cheney escaped war crimes investigations, not a single Wall Street executive was prosecuted by Holder. :ohno:

She should be forced to step down and the Democrats are idiots for every nominating her.
She'll remind the nation that she's a woman and that Donald Trump said terrible things about women. If there is another notorious Trump video to be leaked, the Clintons should probably leak it now. Then her allies in media can talk about misogyny and sexual politics and the headlines can be all about Trump as the boor he is and Hillary as champion of female victims, which she has never been.

Remember that Bill Clinton leveraged the "Year of the Woman." Then he preyed on women in the White House and Hillary protected him. But the political left — most particularly the women of the left — defended him because he promised to protect abortion rights and their other agendas.

If you take a step back from tribal politics, you'll see that Mrs. Clinton has clearly disqualified herself from ever coming near classified information again. If she were a young person straight out of grad school hoping to land a government job, Hillary Clinton would be laughed out of Washington with her record. She'd never be hired.

As secretary of state she kept classified documents on the home-brew server in her basement, which is against the law. She lied about it to the American people. She couldn't remember details dozens of times when questioned by the FBI. Her aides destroyed evidence by BleachBit and hammers. Her husband, Bill, met secretly on an airport tarmac with Attorney General Loretta Lynch for about a half-hour, and all they said they talked about was golf and the grandkids.

And there was no prosecution of Hillary.

That isn't merely wrong and unethical. It is poisonous.

And during this presidential campaign, Americans were confronted with a two-tiered system of federal justice: one for standards for the Clintons and one for the peasants.

If Clinton was so great and Trump was bad, she'd be sweeping him in the polls.

Clinton's RCP lead down to 3.8 in a 4-way race. Up .7 in Florida, down 1.1 in Ohio, and falling in a few other battlegrounds.

Liberals amaze me. Really. Who else gets caught saying the things they say an their only response is about some country that may or may not have released the information.

There is no doubt that she is vastly more skilled, competent, and experienced than the joke that is Trump.

The DNC deserves a large share of the blame for the underhanded way they ran the primary. It will be American history's all-time greatest irony if the donk's voter suppression in the primary turned off enough voters that the results of their tactics carry over into the general election and bite them in the Baldy. :coffee:
