Renderings released for a grand entrance at the north end of Stewart Stadium.

Sark's Boys Gateway

This would be great for adding a little more professionalism to the overall look of Stewart Stadium

Over the last few years Weber has made significant strides in trying to turn their football program around with upgrades to the stadium and other aspects that included a brand new weight room and an indoor practice facility.

Hopefully this comes to fruition and Weber can add yet another upgrade to their football program

But that would take away from the allure and stylishness of the barbed wire fence!

How long has it been since you've been to Stewart Stadium?

Thats pretty good considering how broke Weber has been in the past. I remember them holding a bake sale when I was in high school to try to keep the program going. I wish SUU would get on the ball with stadium expansion, they were bursting at the seams during the HC game against PSU. Are you heading south next week for the big showdown?

I had originally planned to, but I drew out for a limited entry tag and my hunt starts that weekend. Kinda bummed but It took 10 years to draw out for it so I gotta take advantage of every day I get.

It should be a great game though, at the beginning of the year I had pegged it as a win for Weber but SUU turned out to be much better than I expected. It is a rivalry game though so anything can happen. For me I just want Weber to get a win in the blasted series already.

Yah, I wasnt so sure either, they look better than I expected but still not as good as I hoped. This weeks game against NoDak will be a good indicator of where they are. Weber will be a good game, both teams really get up for each other. Jay Hill is an old high school teammate of mine and Im a former SUU player so it's bragging rights on the line. :thumb:

Well- good luck on the hunt, if you get anything decent you should put some pics up.

There is talk about actually doing that.

Stewart Stadium was built on a fault line and the east side stands are "slipping" so the plan is to replace the east side stands and make them more structurally sound. But as a part of that Weber is also thinking about removing the track and connecting the west and newly renovated east stands together on the southern side, similar to what Montana State and Utah State have.

Granted this is mostly talk but it is being discussed which means that someone believes something big is going to happen to the college football landscape and Weber wants to be a part of the bigger picture.

That is exactly what Eastern Washington needs right now. If that comes to fruition Stewart stadium will have a higher stadium capacity then Utah State's. :thumb:
