Hey punchy, I think Kalm just got done telling you that the generations overlap. I think my parents are very unboomerlike, as they were right at the earliest dividing line. Can't recall if I posted this. 89Jr had to choose an honors seminar for one credit and picked an astronomy class, but got put in "The Contemporary American Musical Theatre: From Hair to Hairspray -- and Beyond". First day of class the teacher asked each student to stand up, give their name and what gender they identified with. Jr got up and walked out.
He switched to "The Kinesiological Bases of Skilled Performance"... they are learning through golf.

Not easy for all kids. One of the tenets of both of my kids education in HS was self-advocating. Unfortunately, too many kids would just sit there and take it.Chizzang wrote:Or your kid can leave and do something else... (that's easy enough)

They're just slower than others. Pretty much all Protestant religions were against birth control at one time. RCC will relent on this in our lifetime.
