Fuck Connecticut. One shitty 80s movie and they're suddenly pizza experts?

I will say that I know a few Jersey transplants in Slower DE and their whining about the food is insufferable. My dad is very mild mannered (opposite of me) and even he got so sick of listening to one NJ family friend at a group breakfast that he said, "well why the hell don't you move back to Jersey then?" It was very effective coming from him.
 I've been there. Not horrible, but nothing to rave about.

You watch. With all the NJ transplants, its just a matter of time until the food follows. You will thank us then.
I have seen this occur in Williamsburg. Unfortunately, the cost of shipping the right ingredients makes it expensive. But you are much closer so it shouldn't be too bad.
The quality of food was excellent before they came. They'll only make it guidofied.

I will say that there is absolutely ZERO Chinese food in LSD. I'm fine with that because I have tons of good places here for that and when I go to the beach it's: Casapulla's, fresh corn and tomatoes, Milton's sausage, Hocker's chicken and steaks, etc... :thumb:

Shanghai in Milford is phenomenal. Been going there for around 30 years. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_ ... aware.html

Hocker's is good to go. Used to eat their grub when hanging out with one of my surfing buddies in Millville.

Milford? I'm talking LLSD, not MLSD. ;) But thanks, I've driven further when the mood strikes me.

 Yeah, it's whatever suits us at the time. For me, the canal was always the divider but for a lot of folks it's I-95. ;)

Kent County was always what you drove through on the way to the beach. Dover AFB and... nope, that's it. The area between Newark and Georgetown is the wilderness. 8-)

I'm 25 minutes from getting my 4Runner on the ocean beach whenever I want to (5 min to the bay). That's good enough for me.

My wife and I go to Salisbury for Chinese or Japanese. We probably like Ginger House best. East Moon has good food but no atmosphere. Ikebana probably has the best sushi, but it's pricey.

Oh, so now I'm back in Slower DE. Wow. My house moves around a lot, and it's not even a trailer.

And the funny thing is, Dogfish Head Brewery is not even in the section they say it is.

And all the state parks are in that little spot too? Nice.

 At least it gets people pronouncing it correctly. If I hear one more transplant call it Lou's I gonna have to smack them.

Why not the ones in Fairfax and Falls Church VA or Gaithersburg MD?

Because those are not in DE. BTW, I think they are finally getting the message. They have been so complacent for years and have been lapped by all the other regional breweries. Hell, Mispillion has better beers than DFH now.

Dogfish's IPAs hold there own against anyone. That's always been their bread and butter. Everything else is noise.

I wouldn't put 60, 90 or 120 in my top 50 IPA's.

Well, you're an oddball then. I love 90M and its one-off blend Burton Baton.

Could be. I drink a LOT of different beers and it has been a long while since I've even had a 90. I'm happy to give it another shot but I do know that I really don't care for the Burton though, nor the Palo Santo.

You know that I'm a giant Flying Dog fan, but I wouldn't put their regular IPA (Doggie Style) in my top 50 either... but I would put their The Truth in my top 10.

It's rare that I buy stuff that's not regional, but two of my new favorite IPA's aren't local: Firestone Union Jack and Smuttynose Finestkind. Had a new one from PA last weekend that was fantastic...
