Five officers are dead — four Dallas police officers and one Dallas Area Rapid Transit officer — after two snipers ambushed and opened fire on police at the end of a peaceful protest against nationwide officer-involved shootings Thursday night, officials say.
Seven officers and two civilians also were injured in the shootings.

Maybe their motive was to call attention to the need for alternative fuels or lower health care costs. Oh, I know. Their motive was to kill cops in protest of new zoning restrictions. Get your head out of your ass.

As to the 5 innocent people, I'll bet it was ricochets. It's sad all around. Twitter is already full of people congratulating these animals, trying to inspire more attacks and even offering to help. It's fucking sick.

They had armor, they were crouching behind pillars and luring police to them (actually, pretty smart), witnesses saying they had AR-15s, one guy had so much ammo, the mags were falling out of his pocket.

I'd say an attack was planned a while ago.

Dallas Police Chief David Brown confirmed Friday morning that the shooters targeted white officers. “The suspect said he was upset about Black Lives Matter,” said Brown, who is black. “He said he was upset about the recent police shootings. The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated that he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.”

My point...questionable killings of police suspects in other cities, hundred-thousands of miles away motivates a person to plan and execute on 2 days notice an attack on completely innocent police officers in Dallas? It's hard for me to fathom that level of thinking.
