I'm not interested in impressing anybody with how sophisticated I am by drinking this beer or that beer or this wine or that wine. I just want the alcohol. So when I drink I just drink grain alcohol mixed with some matrix. Usually Fresca.

Uh, no. It doesn't work that way. An addiction does not invalidate your many other examples of superficiality.
