This ^ would not pass Politifact fact checkers...
Politifact hires outside fact checkers from both parties to review their information

Politifact is NOT run by The tribune it is however mostly owned by The Tampa Bay Times
Who is NOT supporting Clinton at all and along with their Partners
have written quite a few scathing reviews of the Clinton campaign

And Trump is setting records for lies
Still doesn't keep me from loving that crazy liar - but - he lies a lot

JSO, do we need to send you some Vaseline? Some cream? Something to soothe the burns and butthurt?

No, you need to come to your senses and quit defending Trump. You need to show that you have an above room temperature IQ and quit acting like the idea that this guy is contending for President of the United States is acceptable.

I interpret things like saying he Clinton lies more than he does as you did in another thread as defending him because I don't think that's true. I think that is underplaying the extent to which he lies because I think that if you look at things objectively you have to conclude he lies with greater frequency than Clinton does. And I don't think it's close.

The guy is like a little kid who starts off lying then lies to cover the lie and it goes on and on.

There IS a flip side to all of this.

If anyone thinks the angst over Trump is bad, watch the tectonic emotional shift that will occur if Trump wins

hell the possibility of gnashing of teeth and rending of garments (and assorted kozzers jumping off buildings) alone is enough to make me want to vote for the buffoon

Talking about the death of the GOP will seem like 100 years ago (although I would argue it already died in the 1990s)

Listen: This country CANNOT, or at least SHOULD not, set the precedent of having someone who has employed the tactics Donald Trump has employed succeed in becoming President. That would be worse than Clinton becoming President.

You are talking about putting a totally unqualified and probably mentally ill individual into the Chief Executive position in in the United States government by virtue of him turning the Presidential Election process into something like a World Wrestling Entertainment bullshit show.

Clinton is at least minimally qualified for the job and, more importantly, sane.

Be serious. I don't think Obama went into the office qualified for the job and I disagree with his philosophical outlook but he appears to be a stable person mental health wise. And he conducts himself with a reasonable level of professionalism. Bush appears to be VERY stable emotionally. And he was coming off a very successful run as Texas governor. He was qualified for the job.

This is a totally different situation. We're talking about an emotionally immature and unstable real estate developer. No relevant experience for the job whatsoever. Even less qualified than Obama was. AND he's taken absolutely absurd positions while repeatedly DEMONSTRATING through his own statements that he's not qualified for the job. It is absolutely nuts that a bunch of people are voting for something like that. Raises serious concerns with respect to the population we have.

I'm sorry, but Bush was clearly not emotionally mature. Not that that's a bad thing. People who never grow up are sometimes fun to be around. Who wants or trusts "emotionally mature" people? They are dregs.

Your naivete is in believing that emotional maturity and formality are actually honest and pure. 'I am a serious and sober politician! (While I swill down Saphire and Tonics and bang hookers or little boys on the weekends. It's ok though, I'll pray that shit away in church and be back to my importance by Monday)'.

And don't worry about OUR population. We're not alone. Burlisconi was elected prime minister 4 times. The first being the same year he entered politics. We're not alone.

Where exactly was Bush not emotionally mature? Just not sure where you measured that.

I'd have to say that Bush's giving up golf while Americans were fighting and dying overseas was emotionally immature. Obama corrected that... :coffee:

Just think about how he responded to all the insults and criticism he was getting. He maintained an even keel. He did not engage in personal attacks. Or if he ever did things that might be construed as "personal attack" it was minimal. He maintained a professional demeanor. And yes I realize he wasn't articulate. But I'm talking about the way he handled himself.

You would never have seen him acting like a petulant little kid like Trump does.
