In any case there are more important things. Trump is completely unacceptable. He's mentally ill. He's an asshole. He at least SAYS he wants to do stuff like impose a bunch of tariffs on foreign trade. One would have to be insane to support putting him in the White House.

I'm not a Republican. I did not vote in the Republican primaries because Louisiana is a closed primary and I am registered as a LIbertarian. I just have historically voted Republican in Presidential elections because I pick what I think is the best or at least the lesser of two evils between the two candidates that had a reasonable chance to win. This time it's not the Republican. It's the worst choice of my lifetime. But this time the lesser of two evils is the Democrat.

No way in hell I would ever vote for Trump and I think you should be ashamed of yourself for supporting him.

If you're registered as a Libertarian, why have you ruled out voting for the Libertarian candidate, whoever it will be, this far in advance?

It's a hard choice to determine who is less honest between Trump and Hillary. Hillary makes Bill look like a paragon of truthfulness and virtue, imho.

It is my belief that Bill knows how government works, is competent in knowing how policies work and interact, and at the end of the day has America's best interest at heart. I don't believe the same of Hillary.

I have no clue about Trump. He is a carnival barker and an entertainer, but he also knows how to put together deals. I'm not sure if this is enough or not.

Either way it goes appears to be a bad choice at this point in time.

It's not my Party. I just am the type that votes for one of the candidates that has at least some minimal chance to win in Presidential elections and that always means Democrat or Republican. So far during my life I've always chosen the Republican. And I believe the Democrat Party has been and is a very destructive influence. I look at the Republican Party as the only viable check.

But now the Republicans have totally screwed up with respect to choosing a nominee. They selected a nominee that no person who is both rational and decent can vote for. It's extremely disappointing to be put into the position of having to vote for the Democrat in a Presidential elections. But that's how badly the Republicans screwed this one up.

I am being totally serious when I say I think you also need to look at the question of his mental health. I've linked articles before from Psychology Today where people opined that he displays classic symptoms of childish behavior in adults and narcissistic personality disorder. And you can just contemplate the way he responds.

Like that John McCain thing. Yes, what he said was very bad. Inexcusable. Supporting someone who would say what he said in that moment to be Commander in Chief is indefensible. But it goes beyond that. It was also a very childish response. Youtube it and watch it again. That is a child in an adult's body.

Or Google around about the story of how Trump responded to British Reporter Salina Scott when she made a documentary he didn't like. A mature, healthy adult doesn't do that kind of stuff.

And she did something I've noticed a lot. She described his behavior as "childish." Just kind of notice how often you hear people refer to him in that way. It's not some big conspiracy. People make comments about him acting in an immature way because he acts in an immature way.

Look at the way he responded to Meghan Kelly. You see it every day. The guy appears to have serious emotional maturity and stability problems.

I implore you to just watch videos of his behavior and ask yourself if that is a mentally healthy individual. And if your answer is "no" I implore you to ask yourself if you want to vote to put a mentally ill person in the White House.

No, what I read is "ad hominem argument." You know, attacking the messenger sort of thing. Politifact lists the details of all the statements it evaluates and its argument for categorizing it.

Plus you can just see it yourself. Like the recent thing with him saying Ted Cruz's dad was involved with Lee Harvey Ozwald then the next day saying he didn't really say it. He did say it. Or the thing with him saying we can renegotiate the national debt then trying to say that's not what he said. It is what he said.
