Joe, just admit that you cannot or wont answer the question. There's no shame in admitting defeat.JoltinJoe wrote:Obviously it isn't.D1B wrote:Joe, this isn't a discussion,
Why can't you hold a discussion without getting personal? No reason for that.

Joltin Joe, pinned again.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

How bout some of you other christians? Why do the jews not get that Jesus is the son of god? How did they miss out on this?
If the Jews expected the Son of Man to rule with an iron fist, they didn't get it in Jesus.
Jesus rode into town on a donkey - hardly fitting of the King of Men. Jesus served man, not the other way around, which was expected from someone who was to bring order to the World.
BINGO! The jews were expecting the "Messiah" to be a military leader and when a man named Jesus cam along, and preached Love, sunshine and butterfly kisses, they broke the sabbath and committed racketeering.

Do a little research. The Jews have quite a few good points too. Then tell Joltin Joke what you learned.

Re: THE RELIGION THREAD
I totally believe in God,
He is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I shall dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.
Amen.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that Buddhism makes the most sense of any major religion out there.
