This whole election cycle... it has to be scripted, right?
I mean, this is why I'm behind Trump. This has turned into theater, and Trump is my favorite actor.

What bigger distraction could you think of for the Skull & Bones, Illuminati, NWO one world government camp to use to hide their true intentions.
Trump is a blowhard, we all know that, but goddammit he's OUR blowhard
TRUMP 2016!!

Cruz couldn't have helped himself much in Indiana when he called a basketball hoop a basketball "ring"...

Re: 2016 Republican Primary
Delegate Count - 571 remaining
Trump - 996
Cruz - 565
Kasich - 153 * Rubio has been out for a while and STILL has more delegates.
Delegates Needed to Win Nomination
Trump - 281
Cruz - 691
Kasich - 1084
Delegates up for grabs tonight
Indiana - winner take most 57
After tonight, it'll be
Trump + 54 for 1050 delegates ( needing 187 of the remaining 514)
Cruz +3 for 568 delegates (needing 669 of the remaining 514)
Kasich 0.
I find it comical that he's become the spoiler, after calling Kasich one. I find it comical that he wants to represent the people, and will work to usurp their voice in order to achieve that aim.

Indiana Primary:
Polls close at 6 p.m. ET in most of the state, and 7 p.m. ET in parts of the state that are in the Central time zone.
Fifty-seven delegates are at stake in Indiana, with the lion's share going to the winner of the statewide vote: 30 of the 57 go to whoever wins the primary, while the remaining 27 are allocated based on the state's nine congressional districts. (It's also an open primary, meaning independents can vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary.)

It's ok. JSO can still vote for a mature Republican. He can vote for Hillary.
Re: 2016 Republican Primary
He'll get to the magic number now. Cruz and Kasich need to quit; a contested convention isn't even gonna happen.
Re: 2016 Republican Primary
I hope Donald goes first instead of last tonight and does about a two hour stream of consciousness victory speech. The networks can't get enough of him, so all the losers would have to wait around with their sulking supporters.

And it sounds like Sanders has been busy courting super delegates and will take it all the way to the convention.DSUrocks07 wrote:Sanders just took the lead on the vote count in Indiana.

Go indictment!!!
Re: 2016 Republican Primary
It really doesn't matter. With Trump's victory tonight, it's simply best for Sanders to end his campaign. It's obviously going to be Clinton vs. Trump...both parties need to start focusing on the GE.DSUrocks07 wrote:Sanders just took the lead on the vote count in Indiana.

Re: 2016 Republican Primary
Republican voters continue to validate the claims made over the years that they are stupid, ignorant, irrational, etc.
I was thinking of something the other day as I saw that the polls showed this Indiana thing was coming. I realized that unless there is some miracle to stop Trump I am, viscerally, going to be pulling for the Democrat nominee to win the White House.
If you're familiar with me you know how strange that is. I have written many times that I consider the Democratic Party to be a serious problem for this country. I consider the success of the Democratic Party to be responsible for most of the systemic problems we have. I tend to support Republicans because the Republican Party is the best chance to stop the Democratic Party. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever have anticipated a situation in which I would actually hope the Democratic Party candidate wins the Presidency.
But that's how unacceptable Trump is. Again: You are talking about supporting a mentally ill, totally unqualified buffoon who might be the most dishonest Presidential candidate of the modern era holding the office.
And I have never been prouder to be able to say I am NOT a Republican if THIS is the kind of candidate Republican primary voters are going to put forward as a candidate for President of the United States.

And I probably will. It has come to the point where that is the best thing to do.It's ok. JSO can still vote for a mature Republican. He can vote for Hillary.
Remember, I am not a Republican. I am just someone who thought he'd never see the day when the "lesser of two evils" would be the Democrat.

If Republicans had any smarts, Kasich would be #1. I'd vote for Kasich in a heartbeat.
