Trump should pick Mia Love. It'd be pure genius.

Trump will pick Haley when he gets the nomination, guaranteed.

I dunno. Haley endorsed little Marco and isn't a fan of Trump. She'd be a good pick. She's a Christian, non-white woman. Smart pick. She's no Palin.
I believe he knows he needs to go with a Southern Governor to lock up the GOP vote in November and show solidarity in the party.

Christie is too obvious, but would make a FUCKING GREAT Attorney General.

It sure won't as hell be Skeletor down in Florida

Agree with Christie.

I think he needs a woman, regardless. Mia Love would be a great choice. A black, tea party woman would be a bold choice.

There's always Martinez from New Mexico (woman and Hispanic) as well as Fallin from Oklahoma as women governors who could run on the ticket with Trump.

The bumper stickers for that ticket would just sell themselves - "Trump-Love" . It would be catchy.

What's the point of announcing a major decision and then releasing that info hours before? Kinda takes the excitement out of the event.

Cruz is showing even more reasons why he wouldn't be suitable for office. First he fumbles the whole Cruz/Kasich tag team thing, and then he's tone deaf and clumsy in rolling out this vice presidential running mate thing. He's already creepy, now he's unorganized and desperate to boot.

Screw that. Try to force the brokered convention so the Republicans can get someone who might win (Kasich) or at least get an adult nominee (Kasich or Cruz).

Wonder if she would take it. Would be difficult for her not to since SC voted for Trump. But still I wonder. She doesn't really seem Trumpian :|

Not true. Trump has to win Indiana to maintain likely path to 1237. If he doesn't, he likely falls short then contested convention which = Cruz has a chance. Cruz would be dumb to bow out before Indiana.

".....Indiana is critical. If Trump doesn’t carry the state and most of its 57 delegates on May 3, his path to lock up the 1,237 delegates he needs would require a near-sweep of California — a tall task with 53 independent congressional district elections — or picking off another state or two where he’s currently not favored, such as South Dakota or Montana......"

Trump currently up in Indiana, but not by a huge amount..

Bingo. Would be good for Trump to pick either a Hispanic or a woman. A Hispanic woman would be the best of both worlds..

2016 Republican Primary

Post by andy7171 »

We need a new thread comparing the gap between random shootings and terroristic activity/ Spandos' thread count and Trumps latest wins/ JSOs anti-Trump rants.

I'm guessing the time YouTube video creation is just about the same as the RNC giving his "outsider" wife her talking points.

Even if he isn’t the Republican nominee for 2016, don’t count on Donald Trump to go quietly. If the Republican National Committee does not treat him fairly during the primary season, he says, the chances he will run as a third-party candidate will “absolutely” increase.

“The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy,” he told The Hill in an interview published Thursday morning. “The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.”

Trump has led several recent national polls among Republican voters, though a recent Quinnipiac University survey this week showed him with severely negative approval ratings in the swing states of Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.

The billionaire business mogul said that “so many want me to” run as a third-party candidate if he does not win the GOP nomination.
I don't know who Stephen Maher is, but this tweet is exactly what I predicted was Trump's going in position:
"Ah fuck. You are right." KYJelly, 11/6/12
"The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." Barack Obama, 9/25/12

That's not even what we're talking about  It doesn't matter how many delegates Cruz wins from here on out. The only thing that matter is Trump needs to win 1237 or there will likely be a contested convention which means Cruz or Kasich could win in a contested convention irregardless of how many delegates Cruz wins from here on out. Which means Trump likely needs to win Indiana to get to that 1237 to prevent a contested convention like I was saying.
