That's not the kind of thing that was going on with Cruz criticizing Hagel. What Trump said about McCain as a Prisoner or War was totally unacceptable. It's different than disagreeing with what McCain did as a politician.

You do realize that McCain probably took a hundred swipes at Trump before he said that? And who cares really? McCain served honorably and was a POW, but all is fair in politics. Just ask Ted Cruz.
McCain isn't really that different from Trump. He got where he did because of his dad, who schmoozed a slot for his son at USNS. Trump was actually a better student, as McCain barely got through Annapolis, finishing fifth from last in his class.
I wonder how he did in flight school?
