Trump is not the reason conks are going to lose the WH, conks are the reason conks are going to lose the WH. I'll just call them cousins. :)
There is a such thing as double cousins-

when two brothers marry two sisters their children are double cousins

I only know this because my great grandfather and his brother married my great grandmother and her sister
Doesn't count because they all shared the same parents. :coffee:

Cruz is completely un-electable.
He's got a lot better shot than Trump does.

So do you want Trump as the GOP candidate or a third party candidate? Take your pick. Regardless, no other Republican will be elected.
If that's true no Republican is going to be elected because Trump has always been one of the weaker Republican contenders in terms of the general election and he's the weakest of the three remaining candidates by a significant margin. He's got hard core support from 30 something percent of about 30 percent of the electorate but most of the rest of the country cannot stand him.

One caveat as always: It's possible that Hillary can get indicted after it's too late for the Democrats to pick another horse and she's said she's not going to drop out if she's indicted. If something like that happens it's possible Trump might stumble into a win. But if I had to be I'd bet she'll beat him even if she is running under indictment because he's THAT reviled by most of the population.

And, heck, if she gets elected she can pardon herself.

That's how weird this election has gotten. We've got a Socialist nut case, a woman that might possibly be indicted, and a fundamentally dishonest as well as totally unqualified demagogue asshole with serious emotional maturity and self control issues seriously threatening to become President of the United States.

Current Real Clear Politics Averages

Kascich 47.7, Clinton 41.1
Kasich 43.3, Sanders 46.0

Cruz 43.4, Clinton 46.2
Cruz 40.6, Sanders 50.7

Trump 38.9, Clinton 49.4
Trump 37.4, Sanders 53.9

Hmmmm. Let's see. If you want a Republican to win, who do you LEAST want to see win the nomination? Which Republican candidate doesn't reach even 40 percent in either matchup?

Democratic socialist. And you, conveniently, are ignoring the beauty of our government: there are 3 branches. 1 branch can go off the rails, there are 2 more to reign it in.

Besides, we aren't running a pure democracy anymore. You partake in socialism quite often.

Trump looks to be faltering. But it doesn't matter, neither Trump nor Cruz has a shot in the general against either hilldog or bernie. conks totally fucked themselves.

BTW, heard on the radio that Preiubs is talking about changing the rule before the convention on who is eligible to be nominated in the conk convention. This is going to be great.

True. I should've said ideally.

But, with a Trump preSidency, I can see the Congress "uniting" against him.

Is he really changing a rule? Don't try they, theoretically, establish new rules before each convention?

They would unite against bernie as well. The banking lobby is going to "play the field" (to use a craps term) against his old jew ass.

Each convention, technically, sets and votes on their own rules. That happens very early in the convention and they haven't even televised that part of the convention in years. Sure that there'll be more coverage of that this time around for both parties.

or shutting down the national government,
The ironic thing is that it's never been the Republicans shutting down the national government. It's always been the Democrats. But they've somehow been able to cast things as the Republicans shutting down the government.

Clinton did it. The Republicans sent him an appropriations bill to fund the government and he refused to sign it. He literally shut down the government. Yet he was able to spin the situation into "The Republicans shut down the government."

Same thing has happened more recently. Republicans craft an appropriations bill. The Democrats refuse to process it because, though it funds the government in general, it doesn't fund some specific thing they want. They literally take action to shut down the government by refusing to process the bill. Then they are somehow successful in spinning the situation into "The Republicans want to shut down the government."

o you're saying its just like 2000?
G.W. Bush comes off as very mature emotionally. Maintains an even kill. Takes attack and criticism well. Very calm. Generally pretty gracious. Not like Trump at all.

In fact in the 2000 election if there was a candidate that struggled with emotional maturity it was Gore. The whole Florida challenge thing was an emotionally immature thing to do. And it was bad for the country. He should have just accepted the result; which was that Bush won the majority of legal votes in Florida. That's what the initial determination was and that's what the truth was.

Exactly. I love the "but conks won more elections" line. So hammering out a list of accomplishments by the conk lead Congress should be no big deal then...and an established conk would have no problem securing the conk nomination and marching on into the WH in November....whoops. :dunce:
