Heard some experts say teams are grasping right now. They said if he was a legit 1/1 where it was necessary to trade up to get him, he should have been the clear 1/1 from day one.

Gotta think Wentz and Goff are going in the first two picks - just a question of what order and what other team gets to pick #2. Does seem like teams are a bit desperate, but they've really always been desperate. Roll the dice on a QB and see what you get. Seems like the Rams gave up way too much to roll the dice but if you land a legit QB you can cure a lot of what ails you.
