He was done after his poor showing last super Tuesday...but he'll stay in to split delegates to allow for an open covention so the conk establishment can take the nomination away from Trump. That will effectively end the conk party as we know it...er at least how it has pretended to be for the last 6 years.

Next Tuesday 4/15 is HUGE.
FL 99 delegates in winner take all.-Rubio has too win to stay in.
OH 66 delegates winner take all- Kasich has to win to stay in.
MO 52 delegates winner take all

NC 72 delegates proportional
IL 69 delegates proportional

Northern Mariana Islands Caucus 9 delegates winner take all.

Here's what I think the odds are:
-If Trump sweeps the winner take all states it is OVER.
-If he takes 2 of the 3 still likely over but a slim chance for a contested convention.
-Takes 1 out of 3 think it will be a good chance for a contested convention
-Takes 0 out of 3 we're gonna see a contested conventon.

Rubio is down 16 points in Florida. If he drops out now, he can save his political future. How embarrassing would it be if the people that sent you to Congress, won't send you to the WH?

The people who sent him to Congress expected him to show up and advocate for them rather than run around everywhere else whoring himself out to whomever waved the most cash.

Gotta love all the Tea Bagger nuts who got elected on promises of ethics and small government who would push their mom in front of a bus to get their next greased handshake.

I can only imagine where we would be is O'Donnell made it to the Senate. The GOP in Delaware shot themselves in the foot by going with her over Castle.

Yep, I agree 100%. Neither Rubio nor Kasich have any business going forward if they don't win next week.

Sure did. But Castle was branded with the RINO label and that was all she wrote. The Tea Baggers preferred a self-professed witch over a good man who got along and got things done on the hill.

Also, Castle committed the same sin that Cale Boggs did when running against Biden in '72: he assumed he'd win, and he didn't work very hard.

Just watched Kasich in a town Hall. There are things I don't like about his positions but he is just so much more actually qualified than the other guys left in the Republican field are. People ask him questions and he's got immediate, detailed, cogent responses indicating that he has a real grasp on how to do things. Actual specific, detailed answers on how to address given problems.

It's such a shame that we've gotten to the point where somebody like you-know-who is the front runner who is totally incapable of doing that. Just Charlie Sheen style bullshit.

Yes I know that there is a liberal/progressive talking point or talking concept going around that the Conservative and/or Republican arguments attacking centralized national government authority, etc., created this. It's nonsense. It's to be expected from the liberal/progressive movement. But it's a bunch of crap.

"Fox News Poll: Trump dominates GOP race in Florida

Less than a week until the first winner-take-all Republican primaries, Donald Trump is trouncing Marco Rubio on his home turf, according to a new Fox News poll.

In the race for the Republican nomination, Trump receives 43 percent among Florida likely GOP primary voters. Rubio is a distant second with 20 percent, closely followed by Ted Cruz at 16 percent. John Kasich comes in fourth with 10 percent....."
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/03 ... tcmp=hpbt1

Fox poll above the most recent one released today. 6 polls in FL out this week, Trump up big in all but one (closest 8 points). RCP avg Trump +17 over Rubio.

You are absolutely sprinting from your own rhetoric and lack of reason now. And yes, there's plenty of vitriol coming from the left too.

Trump IS the Republican Party in 2016, a popularity forged by decades of irrationality.

(And Cruz is hardly more sane. In fact in many ways he's much worse)
