This is why he would crush hilldog in the general...unfortunately he isn't going to get that far.

How long until Trump goes third party? Either way, Trump owns the GOP.
That's a guarantee. Only a matter of time.
If I was Trump, I would completely switch off the game plan and go on message about the issues details every single speech every single time. We already know that he's quick that switch things up on the fly which is a quality that I can admire in a leader. Too many times you see people who want to "stay the course" stick to their guns, stick to their principles, in the face of everything crashing and burning around them which is how I see a Cruz presidency operating to be honest.

He's not capable of that.

If they are successful, I will vow never to vote Republican again in my lifetime:
I think it will backfire. I was listening to Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity yesterday (for the entertainment value) and every single caller was disgusted with Mittens. Glenn and Sean weren't happy with his Anti-Trump passion when he showed none for Obama. People feel betrayed and, it's no secret, that many of the callers specifically stated that voting for Trump is a "middle finger" to Washington.
Yep.
"Poll: Mitt Romney Helped Donald Trump, More Voters Now More Likely to Support the Billionaire
...........Thirty-one percent of Republican voters, after Romney called Trump “a phony,” said they are now more likely to cast a vote for Trump and 30 percent of the voters who supported Romney in 2012 said they are more likely to vote for Trump, according to a new Morning Consult poll released Tuesday.
Roughly 20 percent of GOP voters said they’re less likely to support Trump. Forty-three percent of the voters said they didn’t think Romney’s criticisms had an impact........

Little Marco is running dead last in Michigan and Mississippi.
Only 4% so far in Mississippi! Yeeeouch.
Looks like Kasich has taken over as the top pick of the establishment. I like Kasich. If the GOP finds a way to steal this from The Donald, I hope it goes to Kasich. The establishment hates Cruz almost as much as it hates Trump.

The problem is that Kasich can't poll for crap in the South, just like Cruz can't get votes in Northern states (although to a lesser extent). Trump is the only Republican who is strong anywhere and everywhere. Hard to see him not getting the nomination short of the GOP deciding to just forfeit the Presidential race.
Again, I dig these post-election press conferences Trump does, as opposed to those victory celebrations/typical stump speech that people normally have done. Maybe it's the sports guy in me, I like post game press conferences, but I think it plays to Trump's strength to do things that way.

His polls in there skyrocketed after the David Duke comments.
You mean after he disavowed Duke like a hundred times after the press kept on browbeating him about it?

Yeah, like when he said he didn't know anything about it or who they are or that he has to look into them before disavowing them...which he finally did a day later...even though he knew who he was in 2000.
February 19, 2000, op-ed for The New York Times: ‘Not company I wish to keep.’
TRUMP: Although I am totally comfortable with the people in the New York Independence Party, I leave the Reform Party to David Duke, Pat Buchanan and Lenora Fulani. That is not company I wish to keep.
