You probably said the same thing about Obama when Hillary cleaned up on Super Tuesday in '08.

Bernie is raising more money at an average of $27/donation than Hillary and drawing bigger crowds too. He has the money to stay to the end or go independent. If he is in the general election as an independent Hillary is the toast. :coffee:

Bernie matches up better against any of the conks in the general than Hillary does.

Go independent? Come on, there's no way that Bernie goes independent, splits the Democratic vote, and gives the White House to Trump. Bernie's a crazy loon, but there's no way he's that crazy.

Fvck the Democratic Party - Bernie owes it to the public that sent him $40+ million dollars in February to stay in it. Bernie will split some Democrat vote but he'll slaughter her among independents.

He could and he should. I'm not sure if he's now a party member so to speak but he hasn't been most of his career. He indeed has the dough - his fundraising numbers have continued to be great and therefore he has some leverage. He might be too honest of a person to do this though.

Like to see both Bernie and Trump go with independent campaigns. They can both afford it and the chance to stick it to both the DNC and the RNC is just to good to pass on...

Now you have to spin that, play defense and take away from what you really want to say. All the while, Trump's polling looks better and better.

Anyone tracking the number of actual votes being cast in each state?
I would be interested in seeing the R vs. D comparison. And seeing the numbers as compared to the 2008 Primary.

So, I just looked at the counties in SC that voted....the 2 most liberal counties went for Rubio and rest of the state was Trump.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... count.html

Trump - 3,365,867
Cruz - 2,764,036
Rubio - 2,132,894
Kasich - 650,909
Carson - 572,788
Total: 9,486,494

Clinton - 3,932,305
Sanders - 2,541,444
Total: 6,473,749

Delta: 3,012,745

Lots of theories about that.

Dem voting down...Repub voting up. Some folks are saying that Dems and Independents are crossing over to vote for Trump. The question is: why?

One theory says that Dem voters went to the open primaries and voted for Trump so that Hillary has an easier time in the general election. Another theory says that displaced Democrats went over to Trump to stay.

Which one is it?

I'd guess both...but far more people should be going to Trump than those just trying to get Trump set up for Hillary. The Democratic party LOVES to play to the Black population...and their fringe LOVES to perpetuate White Guilt. So who in the national Democratic party supports the lower economic Democratic White male voter? :suspicious:

No one.

No other party plays the race card more than the Dems. The media can't report a primary vote without saying that Clinton is winning because of the Black vote. Now add the Hispanics. Everyone can vote for someone as a race based block without being called racist...except White males. I'd have to believe that some White Democratic blue collar males would be sick of hearing, every single day, about how candidates represent every other demographic but theirs.

Yup, it is OK for Team Brown to support Rubio or Cruz. If he isn't their man, they'll take their ball and go to Hillary...or stay home. Team Black can vote for Obama...and now Hillary is playing that game and they are sucking it up. But holy crap...if White men support Trump, they are racists.

Trump, whatever he is...is breaking the Republican party. Rich Republicans, Black and White, don't represent the average White male. Nor does the national Dem party.

Trump is a caustic guy who won't play by the rule book. Kudos to him. I don't care if he talks like a blue collar bartender...as long as he screws the existing system and exposes it for what it is, I am for him. Then, perhaps we can get a middle ground party that supports most of America, and Americans...Black, White, Hispanic, whatever.

Here are a couple of articles that explain why the Repubs don't represent middle America. Long...but pretty damned accurate.

Below, the fact that CNCB has two BILLIONAIRES talking about Trump not knowing about China's economy, and representing Kasich is stunning. Hedge fund people and capitalists are funding the exporting of our jobs...and these two clowns, who know nothing about middle America (except how to leverage their money for themselves) are supposed to convince average Repubs that they care about the middle guy? :suspicious:

Can they be any more disconnected from the base they want to try to recapture?

He could and he should. I'm not sure if he's now a party member so to speak but he hasn't been most of his career. He indeed has the dough - his fundraising numbers have continued to be great and therefore he has some leverage. He might be too honest of a person to do this though.

Listened to some news talk radio on the drive home yesterday. Basically the conk establishment strategy is to keep all the candidates in so Trump can't get the needed delegates to win the nomination outright. That will force an open convention in which the establishment can then rig it against Trump so either Cruz or Rubio will get the nod. We knew the establishment conks were done when the tea parties ran them over, but now Trump is going to finish of the party.

I actually think it’s a bad move by the establishment. I get that they are butthurt about losing their control over their party, but they are the ones to blame due to their incompetence and lack of connection with everyone outside of DC over the years. If the establishment was smart, they would bite the bullet and round up support behind Trump to secure the WH and everything else will fall into place. The trade off in doing so is to cut some deals with Trump (‘cause you know, he’s the best negotiator ever and he has promised to make deals once in power) and get something out of the momentum he has (whatever that would entail is anyone’s guess, their guy as VP, a SCOTUS nominee or 2, who knows).

But of course the establishment conks are too fucking stupid to think about the long game…which is why Obama has pwned them since coming into office. :dunce:
