Christie should be thanked for knocking the Republican version of Obama down. Rubio is a train wreck waiting to happen.

The biggest one to blame for Rubio's poor debate performance is Rubio- Christie didn't make him repeat the same spiel 3 times in a row. And are you going to say Bush should burn in hell too? Because Bush spent 36 million in NH, much of it attacking Rubio. His super PAC Right to Rise saturated NH with negative adds against Rubio.

Here's one of the MANY Bush attack ads against Rubio that has run in NH and is running in SC:

Donald Trump 95,962 35.3%/10 delegates/$3.7 million spent
John Kasich-- 42,889/15.8%/3 delegates/??? spent
Ted Cruz----- 31,636/11.6%/2 delegates/$600,000 spent
Jeb Bush----- 30,116/11.1%/2 delegates/$36 million spent
Marco Rubio- 28,575/10.5%/$15 million spent

So Bush outspent Cruz by about 60 to 1, and still finished behind him.. Neither of the 2 biggest spenders (both establishment) finished in the top 3. Compare that to the anti establishment Trump and Cruz. That is saying something..

From a bystander's perspective... Rubio seems like one of the more stable Republican choices. Particularly out of the frontrunners.

Yeah, that link doesn't look shady at all.

But, since you linked it, the PhD who wrote the book states, "Bush's IQ is below average relative to that subset of the U.S. citizens who also managed to work their way into the White House. In fact, his intellect falls near the bottom of the distribution. When compared with twentieth-century presidents from Theodore Roosevelt through Clinton, only Harding has a lower score (at least on three of the four estimates)."
I have a higher IQ than those Bush estimates.

I'd estimate about 6.93 points higher.

Christie should be thanked for knocking the Republican version of Obama down. Rubio is a train wreck waiting to happen.
We don’t know that, and as BDK has pointed out Rubio did a lot more than just show up during his time in the FL legislator (i.e. he knows how to work with others to get something done). The reason Obama has been a train wreck is because he surrounded himself with childish yes men. Sure his lack of experience is a factor, and should be a concern with Rubio, but the conks main goal should be getting the WH, everything else is moot. We just saw first hand how meaningless holding majorities in Congress is now that executive fiat will more than likely be the status quo from here on out. Rubio will be appealing to the common man during the general election as well as the fastest growing demographic in America (Team Brown). Trump will play right into the “rich white man/white privilege” mantra that the Hillary/DNC machine is built for.

And I disagree with JSO. Everyone is fair game in the debate, there is nothing wrong with anybody going after anyone. It is funny that even with fat asses best debate performance, he still couldn’t sniff 5th place and now finds himself back on the sidelines binge eating burgers and fries.

Bye bye Bush
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02 ... -race.html

Kasich & Carson vowing to stay in for now. Rubio & the establishment will be leaning hard on Kasich (and to a lesser extent Carson) to drop out...When that happens majority of those votes go Rubio and I think will put Rubio very close to Trump.

Yeah what Trump is going to the Republican Party is a shame. Or maybe I should say what the idiots who are supporting Trump are doing. Most Republicans don't want him as the nominee. But he's sailing right now because he's got a hard core mass of idiots that would support him regardless of what he does and the votes of those who don't want him are split. It probably won't happen now but it's past time that the other candidates get together and for the good of their party as well as the country put egos to the side and rationally pick one of them to go one one one against Trump while the others drop out.

Rubio would be the best choice because polling not only shows that he would soundly beat Trump in the Republican primaries in a one on one matchup but would also beat either Clinton or Sanders in the General Election.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
