Re: 1/2 Games
I didn’t watch this game but Sac Buzz is saying we have a few players with injury and/or illness. Hornsby didn’t suit up, Wu and Demps both saw limited action (Demps didn’t play in the 2nd half). We’re down to our 5th and 6th guards on the bench. If these guys don’t get healthy we are likely to start BSC play with a 1-4 record.SAC 68-76 PSU; The Hornets still fall despite 2 double-doubles

Yup. Lady Hornets are still trying to find their way with the big losses in graduation. They should be fine now that BSC play has hit.Mvemjsunpx wrote:That's what I meant; they broke their own Big Sky scoring record (which they had previously broken just 11 days earlier against Irvine). Of course, in-between they shot 22% in a bad loss to Cal Poly. I'm not sure anything sums up Sac State's oddities better than this:SuperHornet wrote:
That's not just the Sac scoring record. It's the Big Sky scoring record as well. Oddly enough, though, it's not even close to the NCAA scoring record. LBSU routed San Jose State 149-69 back in FEB '87....

Joel Bolomboy has been next to unstoppable this season, it is incredibly obvious that he has put in a ton of work during the offseason and it is paying off for him. The kid is a beast

Hornets are in free fall after a promising start to the season. Rumor is Demps has a quad injury. Hopefully we can get him back soon.

Chivichyan made 7 of them. Sloppy game for the Hornets...but Barlett had a career night to get us the win. ISU started fouling with just under 4 minutes to play.Mvemjsunpx wrote:

If there is something the NCAA needs to clean in hoops, its the incessant intentional fouls at the end of a game.
On the women's side, I was told that was the first win in Poky for the Lady Hornets.

Yes it was. Sac hadn't ever beaten Idaho State anywhere prior to Craighead, I don't believe.SDHornet wrote:Chivichyan made 7 of them. Sloppy game for the Hornets...but Barlett had a career night to get us the win. ISU started fouling with just under 4 minutes to play.Mvemjsunpx wrote:
