I threw away my last two Presidential votes for Ron Paul and Gary Johnson. It really makes no difference for me in a Navy blue state. I'm really thinking of registering as a (D) again, just so my primary vote could maybe count.

I was riding the bus to work the day after Obama was elected. I've never seen so many smiling faces and happy people. I was hopeful for better times. 7 years later, the look of misery is back. And has been for a good 6 1/2 years.

The national average might well be < $2/gal and dropping, but that's definitely NOT true here in Cali. Prices just went up 20c/gal in the last week or so. The "excuse" is yet another refinery accident combined with no imports. More lies to cover up the fact that Big Oil (just like every other ECB outfit) is out to screw Cali....

Trump IS that bad a candidate, and I think Romney would take the high road.

I think you're misremembering how close he was to winning last time. I think he'd wreck the Hillary campaign, not be the embarrassment the Trump campaign is and will be going forward.
If you have a candidate who has:
-In a very large primary field has maintained a huge double digit lead for 4+ months.
-has pissed off the establishment
-has played the mainstream media like a fiddle. Most of the "outlandish" stuff he says he probably doesn't even believe but is to step back and watch with a smirk the outlandish reactions from the mainstream media and establishment. And it works like a charm every time. Greatest troll job ever.
-No one else's political rallies, none of the other Republicans, Clintons, or Sanders even come close to what Trump is getting.
-According to some of the polls, is within striking distance of the likely (granted flawed) democrat nominee.
Those are not the signs of a bad candidate or embarrassing campaign..

I have to admit

Considering all the alternatives- Trump wouldn't really be any worse than anybody else currently running

but his election would be worth it just for the galloping trainwreck liberal freakout meltdown

hell Jon's reaction alone would be worth voting for trump

Yes he would. I mean really, think about it.

Just about anybody on the Republican side would be a better President than Trump. He is the worst choice on the Republican side available. He really is. I'm honestly trying to think of one that would be worse and I can't.

I know you can't be serious. Like for instance Bush has no shot now but he pretty obviously would make a much better President than trump. Lindsey Graham would've made a much better President than Trump. Rand Paul. John Kasich.

Trump is a really, really bad alternative. SO bad that I actually caught myself thinking that if I was in a State where it was close I'd have vote for Hillary. THAT'S how bad an alternative Trump is. Electing Trump would be like electing Al Sharpton President except he's at a different extreme. But that's the general personality type. He's basically a White Al Sharpton except he wants to kick the Mexicans out instead of registering them to vote.

Teddy Roosevelt was part of the establishment too. If he were running today you wouldn't vote for him because he wouldn't have a D behind his name.

nothing obvious about it - Jeb Bush is a bigger pansy than his little brother. And Lindsey Graham should switch parties, the one he's in hates his guts no matter how much he parrots their vitriol.

At this point I don't know. I do think if you matched her up against Marco Rubio she could lose.

But before Trump got involved and screwed things up there was a really good chance of having the Republican candidate beat her. Heck, before Trump got involved polls were showing her losing a head to head popular vote match up to Rand Paul.

Trump just totally screwed things up for the Republicans. A gift from Heaven for the Democrats. You can look at the polls at http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... _race.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and see that Trump is one of the worst choices the Republicans could make if they want to win the General Election. Yet the Trump idiots out there continue to allow him to screw things up.

He's a buffoon who will, if nominated, get absolutely annihilated in a general election. What's going on now with potential Republican primary voters supporting him is one of the saddest, stupidest things I've ever seen. It's suicide.
So how does this make him different than the rest of the field? :?

You know you could go through each one of those but the one I'll pick is South Africa. The dirty little secret is that South Africa was better off under Apartheid. I've thought that for years but you can Google "South Africa was better off under Apartheid" and quickly see that I'm by no means the only person to think that.

Not that Reagan took that position. He didn't. He just disagreed with Congress over the specific nature of sanctions.Which of course means the statement made in the image above is misleading. Shocker.

You could but you'd look pretty silly trying to explain how SS wasn't really robbed, or trying to defend his letting the embassy hostages stay in captivity months longer than necessary just to make Carter look even worse, or how he got played like a fiddle by Khomeini. But I'd love to hear you try! :thumb:

Tripled the national debt. From $1T to $3T. Obama tried like hell but could only double the national debt....from $10T to $19T. Obama spends almost $2T extra every YEAR. His ability to spend money we don't have (but borrow from China) is legendary.

:thumb:

Don't forget the Statistics 101 analysis.
How the hell did he keep the hostages in Iran in captivity months longer than necessary? Iran announced their release only a few minutes after Reagan was inaugurated in Jan. 1981. I remember it very clearly, as I was at the U.S. Capitol building when the announcement was made.

Considering all the alternatives- Trump wouldn't really be any worse than anybody else currently running

but his election would be worth it just for the galloping trainwreck liberal freakout meltdown

hell Jon's reaction alone would be worth voting for trump
You're out of the country too much, you've lost touch: Trump is a donk wet dream of an opponent.
and you read at a 2nd grade level

I said his election

not his nomination

D+ for you
