People will find ways to get fucked up at the expense of harming themselves.

Decriminalize all simple drug possession, treat it as a health issue which is what it is.
Only after killing the ACA.
The two do not work together.

Meanwhile, in Kansas, a trip to the nursery and loose leaf tea will get a swat team holding you at gun point for two hours.

Nice probable cause ruling by the judge too.

99.9% of the stuff that get people into confrontations with the police could be decriminalized tomorrow and the world would continue to turn.

But a dude gets choked out because he fought the police over untaxed cigarettes and people see it as a police problem, rather than an overcriminalization issue stemming from the invasive state.

More liberty is better for everyone

Well our esteemed president can choose to direct an entire government agency to ignore immigration laws, why can't a police force selectively enforce laws too? Why do they gotta go all "1984" on the guy?

A lot of police departments DO choose to make things like marijuana possession their lowest priority, even in states where it's still illegal...

Exactly, which is why CID's untaxed cig's analogy is of AZ-like quality...it's STILL a police problem.

Except I'm not a gun guy, but don't let that get in your way. More liberty as a concept is often better, but complete liberty is also known as anarchy.

It only cost about $18 million in bribe money
to steal away the American Publicly Owned Broadband infrastructure
and hand it over to Pet Monopolies

And Glass-Steagal and the CFTA were passed for around only $5 billion.
