I am not worked up over it. I just wish he would stay at AGS and continue to kiss Ralph's ass.
Yeah man you seem completely calm about it.
I was on to 89 Hen's schtick early on in my posting over at AGS but I gotta admit I fell for his Carny routine the first month or so over there. I stopped falling for it once I realized he had a pretty healthy sense of humor.

There is no such thing as 1AA, there never was. You have a lot to learn. You shouldn't post about things you know nothing about.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I always got a kick out of it when someone would post 1AA and Ralph would go apeshit. The good ole days.
I tried to always use 1AA on AGS as I liked it and didn't like being told what to do too much but over here I usually use FCS but still have no problem with 1AA.

IAA or 1AA, everyone knew what was meant. But for some reason, 1AA always resulted in a scolding from Ralph.
It was often a newby who would post 1AA. Poor guys, they never knew what hit them.
Well i have to say that no offense montana fans but for the most part that really is your only excuse for not playing up, because your get just as much money or more at home, not that its a bad reason it just is beaten into the ground. If that is the case why dont you guys try playing teams like oregon, oregon state and utah? I personally think seeing montana maroon in rice eccles stadium would be awsome!

Yes sir, it has to be hell to suffer such strife over minor details (it would be akin to some asswipe making a big deal out the "s" being left out of their name in a poll).
When Prince change his name to a symbol I still called him Prince. The similarities between Prince's name change and the divisions name change are funny (formerly known as...) Maybe we should all just start referring to FCS/1AA as

We haven't had recent success with other "power" conferences honoring home and homes. Perhaps if mountain honor is higher than southern honor we'd consider it.
I would recommend getting the first game at the Tub or having an extremely expense buy-out clause just in case.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

We don't need any other excuse tbird because it is THE REASON plain and simple. I'll ask it once more time for ya...why would you go away from home and play for less money than you can make at a home game. I am sure Oregon State is not afraid to play us but we layed a pretty good ass whoopin' on them the last time we were down there so why would they want us back? We just played Oregon a few years back and then Iowa the year after that. It's only been the last couple of years that we don't have to go to another venue for the money. Can you actually say that in your personal life you would take a job on the road to make less money if you had the opportunity to stay at home? It also doesn't do a thing for me as a fan in this dick measuring contest that some of you that are trying to prove yourselves are hung up on. I would rather go to the game and be able to watch it here. In other words it's good for the team, the fans, and the checkbook. I suppose the administration should start taking into account the views of ill informed casual observers in neighboring states. For the love of God tbird pull your head out of you ass. If an FBS team makes it worth our while I am damn sure that you will get your wish.

Making a lot of sense there UNI88. It happened to two teams during our deficit and if that's how you want to look at it then so be it. BTW did you realize that UNI did that to us back in 1986 or so? Don't hear me crying about it though. Of course that was before we could all get on the boards and start bandying about the shit slinging so it doesn't count I guess. Carry on.

I know what you mean. The "B", "l", "u",'"e","H","e","n","8" and "6" were left out of my name in the same poll.

That's extremely tough to do in a self nomination thread. it happens to the best of us BH.

It's not an "excuse, TBird. It's LOGIC. It's ECONOMICS. It ain't frickin' rocket science. Let's see....we can net $300,000 getting our brains beaten in at Oregon, or we can net $300,000 by having Central Washington come to Wa/Griz. Yeah...hmmm....tough call....
Face the facts: FCS schools ONLY play up for the paycheck, to balance their athletic department books. If they DIDN'T need it, the most likely wouldn't do it (with a rare exception or two).

I get a kick out of it when people try and tell Montana (or Delaware or any other school) how to run it's program. Economics always play a major role in decision making.
I'd like to see Delaware host Penn St, for that matter I'd like to get paid millions to post on CS.com all day.

I know you Montana fans can be sensitive about this topic but I was being pragmatic not critical of the Griz. I agree with AZ and BH86 on the economics. If the Griz have a contract to play Team A at Team A's stadium with a cancellation clause calling for them to pay X dollars and they can get Team B to play at WaGriz for 2 or 3 times X they would be crazy not to cancel on Team A. And they aren't breaking the contract, they are exercising a clause included in the contract that allows them to get out of it. If Team A is smart, they get the home game first or make sure that the buy-out nets them a nice pay day. Just makes good business sense.
Now toughen up comrade!

I would prefer one from AZ's bank. If at all possible.

88, it gets old hearing the same shit over and over and over. Especially when a guy like you (respectable) starts jumping in with that shit. You've probably never seen me throw the shot about UNI because it's a non issue when someone gets a better deal but what I'm vocalizing about is that some that take these shots actually need to get a little bit tougher. You're not hurting any feelings and if you would like to think it's a sensitivity issue then that's cool with me. I do hope you realize that when you take a swipe at someone you will have to be able to take a shot or two yourself. If swinging back brands Montana fans as sensitive about it then so be it.
You took a smack shot to get a desired effect, I took one back, it's a simple system. I hope that's toughened up enough for ya.
OH and on the comment above you quoted, yes of course I said that and meant it. I didn't mean that a guy should sit there and take it like a pussy though.
