WM struggled to beat Duquesne in first round of playoffs.

Despite last week's debacle I am convinced William and Mary is the best team in the CAA. I think when they scored 27 unanswered points they took their foot off the pedal. Never a good idea and worse when you are playing playoff caliber teams.

I like them by double digits in this one.

This game is even tougher to pick than the UNI/PSU one. Should one go with the overall better team, which—despite a lot of statistical similarities—is William & Mary in most every facet? Or should one go with recent trends, no matter how brief those trends have been? It was quite surprising to me that the Spiders beat the Tribe at the end of the regular season when the momentum for both teams was pointing totally in the opposite direction. The Happy Couple then followed that up with a lackluster defensive performance against a Duquesne team we all thought they'd handle with ease. Still… I don't believe the Tribe will be held anywhere near sub-100 rushing yards against Richmond's weak run D this time, so I'll go with W&M.

Side note: whoever ends up punting more is in real trouble, because these two teams are just terrible at punting & punt coverage.
